I am writing this review very late but I dined there about two weeks ago and found my experience to be marvelous. My waitress was a sweet woman named kimmie. She was outgoing, pleasant, and helpful. She was prompt in delivering my drink and than open to menu review while giving her personal opinion on items that she enjoyed. The lady working next to her shana was equally as helpful. The atmosphere was quite nice at that time. Sadly I’m pregnant so I didn’t enjoy any alcohol but I did look at the menu and will certainly be making a trip back. Good food. Great service. A must visit.

The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. Amar (my waitress) chose my lunch for me. Sante Fe chicken warp, with sweet potatoe fries. I will return to order other tasty choices from the menu.

This place was mediocre at best. I saw the menu on Open Table, and had my mouth all set for pizza. It was on the real menu when I got there, too. But when I ordered it, the waitress (who was nice) apologized and said that they only have pizza on "event nights", whatever those are. I don't even remember now what I ended up ordering, except for a salad, which wasn't great. The trouble is there aren't many (any?) good restaurants in this part of Newark, apparently. I was staying in a hotel downtown.

We were a bit late, but our reservation was honored. We were seated quickly, our orders were taken when we were ready, drinks brought quickly and refreshed as needed. Food was good, the Sloppy Edison sandwich was Huge and delicious! Very convenient location, right across the street from the Prudential Center.

Waitress was too serious, cold and had an attitude. Soda were a rip off, ice filled to top and charged for each refill which we weren't told. Also pizza wasn't available until dinner. Wasn't told up front. Why have on menu? I still left a generous tip of over 20 percent because i know it's tough work but will never eat here again. Also when we wanted to order dinner waitress totally ignored me the first time.

I have never really encountered a bad experience there. I enjoy the service and the waitresses/waiters are very good and pleasant, which to me is a plus. They do come by every so often to ask how everything is and to check-up on re-fills, etc. Again, to me that is a plus. If I don't enjoy and/or like the service or the atmosphere of a restaurant, I will not return or recommend it, but I would recommend this one. I do suggest to make a reservation, especially at lunch time and I have never had a problem of not having my reservation kept. I have ordered a few things and was never disappointed and the food is very tasty and actually good. Another plus. I only go at lunch time so can't vouch for any other times. I recommend you at least give it one try and decide for yourself, but I don't think you would be disappointed.

I made reservations on Open Table and I contacted them on the day of my reservation just to make sure everything was set. They advise me that they do not take reservations and I only have 5 minutes to get there or they will give my table away. From that rude tone of voice I decided not even go and waste my time eating there.

I walked all the way there in the cold after booking a reservation through opentable to find out that the kitchen was closed. Mind you this was at 8 pm! I started asking questions but the bartender was giving me an attitude so I left.

Started out badly when Open Table let us book a reservation for 11.45 when the restaurant does not open until 12. However great experience from there. The staff let us in early. Service was excellent and the food was quite good. We had two young children with us for a pre Pru Center event and they had a great time. Would recommend.

I attended with my two sons 10 & 12 years old before the Rolling Stones concert at the Prudental center. We had a great meal and excellent service. Thanks to our waitress Brittany for making our day even more special.

Service was worst we've had yet, and our group has been there a few other times where things were better. Our waiter was unfriendly and almost borderline rude. The food was just OK this time also. We also were overcharged because he said we didn't order "the right" burger to qualify for the $8.95 burger and brew special. We'll definitely go someplace else next time with our larger group. The place was empty, so you'd think they'd be friendlier and treat their customers nicer. Very disappointing.

The Edison Ale House is across the street from the New Jersey Devils stadium. We went there for lunch after the season. It was not noisy or crowded and the food was good. Nice selection of entres.

Although the menu wasn't extensive the food was better than average for pub food.Service was good and the beer selections were noteworthy. I noted this place as kid friendly but we went the night the circus was playing at Pru Center it may vary after a hockey game but the location is great if you're seeing an event.
