The Slanted Door offers diners a gourmet experience where the food on the plate looks as beautiful as the views of the Bay Bridge and the Bay Lights in the evening from every table. Charles Phan, the executive chef, goes to the root of the dishes to represent the food authentically with a modern twist. The Slanted Door offers lunch and dinner menus with a variety of appetizers and main dishes.

The meals consist of organic elements including grass-fed beef and pasture-raised, cage-free chickens. Local seafood options include wild Gulf shrimp, spicy Monterey squid and seared Ahi tuna, or visitors can take advantage of the raw seafood bar. Those looking for a vegetarian or vegan menu will find plenty of options available. The Slanted Door offers a family-style menu and a wide selection of desserts with an extensive bar menu to wash it all down.

Valet parking is offered in front of the Ferry Building Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 5:30 pm. After validation: the rate is $12.00 per hour. The maximum daily rate is $60.00. This was the final meal at Slanted Door before the SF Bay Area "Shelter in Place" went into effect. The food was wonderful (as usual), the restaurant almost empty and our server, who was friendly and professional, talked to us about the situation: his days had been reduced to two a week, so much that he was going to look for work in other areas, perhaps even a desk job. I don't know how that will be possible right now. We left the biggest tip we could afford along with our best wishes and highest hopes that everyone will be able to weather this storm. I hope we will be able to revisit Slanted Door in the near future, it's a dining marvel.

This place has fantastic flavors and an amazing view of the Bay Bridge. They have a great spin on Asian food and it is so fun as a result. The wait staff is right on it and make it a nice experience.

Food and drinks were overpriced for what you were getting. Food was not as good as it was 2 years ago. Service was good.

Our waiter, Grey, was delightful. He gave us a good wine recommendation and was very attentive. Lovely eating experience.

Food was excellent! Definitely worth a return again and again! (Have to try all the other dishes!) The service was outstanding! What took me so long to visit?! Request booths, with view of the Bay.

We had a 2:30 reservation on Sunday afternoon. We were rushed from the moment we sat down. As soon as our drinks arrived we were told we had to place our order the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. Our appetizer arrived and within 10 minutes the balance of our meal arrived all at once. Before we finished our salad the entrees where cold and unappetizing. Several times during the meal we where asked if our plates could be removed while we were still eating. Slanted Doo has been a long standing favorite of ours , I can’t tell you our disappointment. Spending $250.00 on lunch should not feel as though you are an annoyance. We won’t consider returning.
