   This restaurants never disappoints. The food and service are excellent. We had the Pork Ossobuco and Short Ribs...Superb! The ambience is cozy. Highly recommend it.

   We have enjoyed many dinners here in the past. Not sure if they have a new chef however sadly the quality was not as it was in the past. Appetizers burnt and meal was cold/lukewarm when served.

   The food was excellent! We enjoyed 2 salads, 4 different entrees & delicious bread pudding! Service was not as attentive or prompt as expected. Bread was served late, water was late to be refilled.

    Because it was Mother's Day, the indoor seating was booked, so we accepted the outdoor option. It turned out to be wonderful... not crowded, great attentive service, comfortable climate with fans and cool air circulating. Superb, intimate dining experience.

    This was the worst dinner ever. We waited over an hour and half for our food which was cold. The was a table near us that was so loud and obnoxious and we had the worst waitress ever. We will NEVER eat there again

    Food was good a little noisy with other guests being loud. The server seemed to be the only one working in our area making the wait for food very long. There was a wedding going on not sure that was the reason for the very slow service that night.

    Brentwood is one of our favorite "Go To" places for special events. The dress is casual but restaurant is designed as more of an upscale eatery. They have a great lobster and jazz night a couple of nights a week during the summer that is fantastic. Last night's visit was a birthday dinner. My wife had a seafood stuffed lobster with lobster risotto. I had pork osso buco. Both were excellent. Our waiter Steve was attentive but not overly so which was nice. We weren't rushed at all and were encouraged to take our time throughout the evening. If you're looking for "cheap eats", there are plenty of places in the Myrtle Beach, Southern Brunwick County NC area. But if you're looking for a special dinner out, there aren't many that are on the level of The Brentwood.

    The Filet Neptune was delicious. The Surf and Turf lobster was a little over and extremely difficult to remove from the shell and lacked seasoning.

    Service, ambiance, all the help wonderful. Stuffed lobster tail was small and had way to much loose stuffing Was disappointed the claw was not cracked which was very messy to do with all the stuffing and sauce. Wouldn’t order than again.

    My husband and I were at the upstairs bar for happy hour prior to our dinner reservation.We had PEI mussels that were excellent, martinis and delicious fresh bread and butter made at the restaurant. I had surf & turf ( filet mignon & baked stuffed lobster) that was delicious and my husband also had the filet that was cooked perfectly. We had 2 glasses of red wine that complimented the meal. Our bartender/ server , Crystal, was friendly, outgoing and attentive. She was great at making suggestions and highly recommended everything on the menu. Thank you for making my birthday dinner so wonderful! We will be back often:)

    We absolutely love eating at The Brentwood. Especially on Thursday nights when they have jazz and the lobster bake. Jackie our server is always there with a smile and always treats us like we are her only guests. We will definitely be back and enjoy the fantastic food, service, and music.

    We went here to celebrate my 70th birthday. Service was great and food was amazing. Love love love this place! Oh and we seemed to have a visit from one of the spirits. They chandelier started blinking.

    I went to Brentwood with my wife for a seudo date night. We both agreed, in all of our time on this Earth, we have NEVER had better food than here. Chef Steve is a culinary master. Everything that was brought out was absolutely perfect. The stuffed lobster appetizer was flavorful and presented beautifully. My wife had the beef wellington and it was cooked to perfection at medium rare. Perfect shade of pink and the crust was buttery and crispy. I had the duck trio and the presentation was magnificent and the duck was cooked to a wonderful shade of medium. The desserts are next level, the cremé brulee and the chocolate souffle are absolute decadence. Our waiter Eric was outstanding. He attended to everything quickly and was very knowledgeable and helpful as this was our first time dining there. The restaurant and grounds itself are absolutely stunning. The ambiance that it gives off is amazing. Highly recommend to everyone. We will be going back there for years to come guaranteed.

    Great service, bartenders especially competent and friendly. As for food, wife’s short ribs were rather fatty and a modest portion at best. My bouillabaisse was loaded with great shrimp but the fish was very dark and tasted a bit ‘off’, pretty much left it in the bowl. Overall a good experience. Nice atmosphere and service but food has some room for improvement. Listening to the party at a nearby table, they seemed to feel the same way.

    The atmosphere is terrible. The faculty is in desperate need of renovations. The restroom is 1980 grandma vintage. The windows in the dining room have cheep Wal-Mart curtains that look like they should have come down 10 yrs ago. Rickety table that wobbled all through dinner. The floor literally shook when anyone walked across the room. Loud party in another part of the building. Wine was average, foood was mediocre. Way over priced. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

    Fine dining restaurant with great ambiance and food. Not our first time and we would have given it 5 stars overall, however, this time the we were slightly disappointed. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but one diner in our party of 8 was served his entre more than 10 minutes after everyone else was served. My salad was over dressed, too much acid. I will ask for dressing on the side next time. All other appetizers, soups and entres were excellent but somewhat pricey.

    Great ambiance. Pork was outstanding, other meals ordered were ok. Nice presentation. Service could have been better, 2 items sent back were cold, after 10 minutes of waiting for a replacement we had to find our server to see what was going on.
