    Went to Morton's Steak House for my GF"s birthday. Nice place but the over all experience was average. The waiter was nice, but felt he had too many tables, we felt rushed and water kept running out. 2 of the guest ordered the same steak, cooked differently. They switched them, i am sure on accidently, but they noticed it after starting their meal. One returned the steak to be cooked a little longer. The manager took it back, but dropped off the steak with out even an apology or asking her to cut into it to see if she was satisfied. Being the manager, one would easily assume they would be concerned when there is any type of issue. The waiter did offer a complimentary desert for her birthday and it was very good. Its still a nice place, just seemed like it might have been an off night.

    Morton's downtown (77002) has good quality fish & steaks, many entree and side options. Service is good, plan a minimum of an hour - 1.5 hrs dining.

    The homemade potato chips with blue cheese is a must. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious. I wish I could have that onion bread to accompany all my meals. Amazing.

    Excellent experience this past weekend. All the food was great and prepared just right. Our server was excellent as well. I feel their ambiance can be just a little better if it were quieter or perhaps with a piano.

    Very disappointing. The steak was cold and had no char or flavor and it was a huge porterhouse

    This was our second visit at this location. The first was my birthday dinner. Both visits were great. The food, drinks (this time the drink wasn’t that good). But our waiter was attentive, pleasant and made sure no one had to flag him down lol. Seriously this location is very nice and the GM even took our pictures inside of the wine case.

    My first time there and I really enjoyed my time there with delicious food. My server was very nice and attentive. He recommended me some choices on the menu. Also when it came to dessert I always give in. So I will be coming back.

    Everything was excellent, the restaurant is lovely, service very attentive and the food was prepared perfectly, the steak was so tender, my wife said, “it was like butter.” It was an absolutely delicious anniversary dinner for my wife and I, and the little rose petals were a nice touch as well.

    The team was wonderful. And the food was as well. Liz was an amazing staff and the gm was as well. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.
