   Was sent a cancellation email on the night before the booking. The reason was that they are moving location. Obviously something they would have known well in advance. Ruined our plans as it was hard to find any last minutes reservations. Totally unprofessional.

   Not as good as I remember. Blt had a weird testing tempe- neither of us could eat it. Waffle hard and grainy. I miss their mochi waffle. Lasagna is consistently good

   Great vegan spot. The food was delicious, presentation fabulous and prices reasonable. It doesn't get much better ... And special thanks for dealing with a few extra needs for a few of the guests.

   The food is not that good anymore. We had some "kimchi dumplings" which I did not understand why it was on the menu. It was like soggy sand surrounded by a plant. Overall, not a great experience and so expensive for the food.

   Went there for dinner - on just about every dish the taste or texture was off. As life long vegetarians, we had high hopes for this place but were very disappointed. We tried 5 different dishes and the Warm Cashew Raclette was the only one we liked. Asparagus was too strong of an onion flavor, Peewee Potato was dry, Lamb kabob bitter and uneatable. Waiter was great and kept the wine flowing. Maybe this is better for brunch but would not recommend.

    Normally love going to PFW but this time around quite disappointing. Taking my Mom for her birthday and unfortunate time with a private event so not about to sit in the back. Disappointing but just unfortunate timing. But then multiple dishes (especially dessert) we wanted were unavailable. Service was generally brief with us and just generally not what I expect from PFW. And then some little things like gnats from the plant by us and not taking into account the number of people in the party when plating (4 people I would expect a nice restaurant to adjust plating off a shared plate like the cheeses to provide at least 4 of the crackers and other items to allow everyone in the party a sample without us breaking them up, etc.). Overall the menu is not as good as in the past either. Understand seasonality so maybe a one time thing. My wife and I will return I’m sure but this experience was not what I have come to expect from this restaurant.

    This place has been going downhill since last summer. Their cashew raclette use to be the best thing on the menu. Now it's totally different. This place use to be a nice plant based fine dining restaurant. Now it's really bad. Almost everything we got was amateur hour. The plating and style of everything was like a 90s new age vegetarian restaurant. Just throw random things on a plate and hope it works. Or not even hope. Nothing made sense. Very sad.

    Original recipes and great combination of ingredients. The desserts were a little too tart (unsweet). The prices for a glass of wine ranged from $17 up. A wider choice with a lower bottom price would be welcome. Generally a good experience.

    I miss the old Plant food and Wine. As a vegan it is hard to get a complete meal from their menu. Also the food wasn't as tasty and special as once ones.

    I've been a huge fan of Plant Food & Wine for years but hadn't been for a while. Yesterday I went with a business colleague from out of town. Well, Plant Food & Wine did not disappoint. The food was fantastic but I was most impressed with the service. Our server, Melinda, was able to answer every question we had about the food before we ordered and her guidance was invaluable. She took amazing care of us throughout the evening and did it with the warmth, grace and humor that took our experience there to the next level. Highly recommended for vegans and anyone exploring plant-based cuisine.

    My friend who is out from out of town and I went for Sunday brunch. I wanted her to experience the beautiful setting of outdoor dining. It happened to be a chilly day but I thought with heat lamps it would be alright to seat outside. I was surprise and disappointed to find out they didn't have any heater that was working. By the time we finished eating I was so cold. I had to crank up the heater once I got inside my car. It wasn't best experience I had at Plant Food and Wine.

    VERY DISAPPOINTING. We've always been big fans and supporters of Matthew Kenney, but this experience was surprisingly bad. We sat down in the empty restaurant for an early meal, but were only given one menu. We had to ask for another one...and we had to wait for that. It was freezing in the place as they left the back door open. The decor was clean and cozy...BUT they awkwardly projected a National Geographic documentary on the dominant wall: dinosaurs and asteroids and the like; this did NOT stimulate the appetite. The food was fine: tasty but far more expensive than necessary. The kimchi dumplings (which had no crunchy kimchi texture at all - more like kimchi baby food) came three to an order and the server asked if we wanted another so we could share evenly. We agreed. The 3 scallop-size dumplings were $18. The additional dumpling was another $4. As soon as the server took our order, she quickly came back and said she was going on break. The replacement server, while polite, was largely inattentive, visiting us only occasionally and leaving without taking away obviously finished plates. There were other odd serving issues: we ordered a first-course "cheese" plate...which came out last (?) When we declined dessert, our server kept pushing it. And most egregious: when our bill finally came (I had to ask for it), there were multiple items listed that WE NEVER ORDERED! When explained to the server, he whisked the bill away and consulted with other staff for another 15 minutes while we waited in the cold restaurant watching dinosaur eggs hatching on the wall. He finally came back, apologizing that they had a new server and it was their fault. Woulda been classy perhaps to comp us an item for nearly doubling our bill, but the server simply passed the buck and opened the door for us when we left. We are busy working parents of young kids and really needed a treat; sadly this wasn't it. Vegans - there are better places to eat out there.
