    Always a very enjoyable place to have brunch, lunch or dinner. Professional friendly staff, amazing cuisine and luxury ambience.

    We had a wonderful time, but... Is Herons excellent!? YES But imo not as excellent as it was my first time there. I think the current changes make it loose its ethereal mood. For the same price i missed the white table cloths, the lemon and like offering for water, the aromatherapy hand towels, the extra types of bread and bites the kitchen seems to enhance your meal (example: last time we had 4 toes of bread and butter for the evening. This time it was one. Last time we had a pre dessert and granola for the morning, this time it was missing) Also noticed service was a bit slower this time than last time which had us sitting 10-15 min between curses. So from 7:30 dinner ended at almost 11. But, everything was exquisitely prepared and service was attentive! Are they still excellent....yes but.....not ASv excellent if I'm comparing to my last experience.

    I had a good friend visiting from Canada. It was a wonderful experience and evening. Heron’s is by far the best restaurant in Raleigh. It is our favorite and we always host our friends here when they visit . Thank you Hobert Beverley

    Pam was spectacular. She was so friendly and attentive. Kacy from Herons served us the night before and I had told her we had breakfast the following day. She left a note with Pam for my 8 year old son which was above and beyond. He LOVED the cheese pizza (which wasnt on the breakfast menu) and Pam brought it to him. The way they go OUT OF THEIR WAY to make my experience enjoyable was unforgettable and why I will ALWAYS come to Herons.

    Kacy is the absolute best server. We request her every chance we get. The oysters are the best thing Ive ever tasted in my life followed by the A5 wagyu. Hannah the sommelier is so gifted with her wine pairings. Every staff member makes your experience so memorable. We will absolutely be back.

    We were celebrating and early Father’s Day and college graduation! The service was outstanding and the food was amazing! The sever Pam was very attentive and very friendly.

    Ambience was great! Service was good. Food not so much. Egg white and regular omelette lacked flavor and the texture was tough and unpleasant. The spring hot pot overall had great flavor but the tofu was too soft and lacked flavor. Pancakes were good cooked just right. The sorbet was overly sweet. The sorbet at Tamasha, Andia and Amorino is much better. Lemon desert was good. Coffee and tea were great! We do look forward to going back and trying other dishes.
