    NOBU is an excellent choice The food is impeccably prepared and served with details and instructions on how best to enjoy it. The table attendants are remarkable and replaced and removed plates after eating. Very very organized clean and impressive attention to detail.

    Hostess tried to give us the worst table with most foot traffic even though the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived. The table bussers were overly aggressive in taking away the plates even when food was still present. Had to tell multiple bussers multiple times to keep onto the plates. Asked one busser to top off the wine since we had a bottle open; busser straight up told us she isn’t allowed to touch the wine bottle (seemed a rather odd response from a service point). Lastly, the dessert came with a note “happy anniversary” even though we weren’t celebrating any anniversary - seemed very presumptuous. Overall the service was rather underwhelming, for any place, but particularly for a place like Nobu.

    I was seated at the counter, so in addition to enjoying my lunch I was able to watch the chefs prepare the sushi. They have a bento box for $62 but I was concerned it might be too heavy for lunch, so I went with the 3 course option instead. I started with the yellowtail jalapeño in a light citrus sauce. All the flavors worked amazingly well together, a perfect start to the meal. I had the salmon (medium well) and crispy shiso for my main and I’m still thinking about this dish days later. The salmon was crispy on top and perfectly moist. First time trying crispy shiso leaves and they added a nice texture and flavor to the dish. I ordered a side of plain white rice as the main didn’t come with any accompaniments. For dessert I had the house made, creamy salted caramel gelato which was the perfect ending to the meal.

    We have dined at Nobu in many cities and we always love the food. This was another exquisite dining experience. Thank you for keeping the quality and service top notch as always!!

    We went to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We waited extra time for our table, and then the waiter didn’t take our order for something like 10 minutes. He then lost our appetizer order and the whole dinner was served as slow as molasses. The food was lovely but we cannot understand while the service was so slow and choppy. We were a bit disappointed overall.
