Bistro Eté is everything you long for in a restaurant tucked away in a quaint spot in The Mill Center. Transformed by Interior Designer Karen Gorman to reflect an understated chic and comfortable style that transports you to the Coast of France. This unpretentious dining experience celebrates food and wine in a setting for all the senses yet does not compete with the flavors.

Chef Arie, inspired by his Cypriot heritage, formal training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and his years working under Two Star Michelin Chef Philippe Da Silva in Provence, presents cuisine reflective of this coastal style. Longtime customers can still indulge in his classic dishes such as escargot, striped bass with champagne truffle sauce and his own dry aged steaks. Of course Chef Arie’s menu will include many mouthwatering vegan and vegetarian dishes driven by altering his favorite recipes for his vegetarian wife.

We were newbie’s soon to be regulars. The meet and greet was warm and welcoming. The menu was spectacular. I had swordfish Milanese which was amazing. My husband had aged NY strip which he loved. The dessert all homemade ice cream. The secrets out!! Highly recommend

Great food but the noise level was out of control, even on a Thursday night. Like being at a rock concert— and not in a good way. Service was attentive but also you could tell the wait staff was a little overwhelmed. Still, we would go back, and try to sit outside in the summer.

CHEF ARIE/ WIFE LIZ are absolutely the best with a team to follow. This little gem of a restaurant is putting out the best food in the Hamptons. They definitely deserve a Michelin ⭐️ IT CHECKS ALL THE Boxes. -H

Fantastic dinner. Ari and Liz made are phenomenal owners that make you so welcome. Food was amazing, service top notch and the grappa second to none! Great night.

My friend found her curried oxtail to be excellent, though the side portion of rice was pathetically small. My braised short ribs pappardelle was quite disappointing: the pappardelle was overcooked, the short rib pieces were cut very small, and the cream sauce too rich. Our server was excellent; our bartender was not.
