SAFFRON NOLA, the culmination of the Vilkhu family’s lifetime of passion for culture and food. Their James Beard nomination for Best New Restaurant in 2018 was hard-earned after gracing the New Orleans community with a catering business for 26-years and a pop-up restaurant for 6-years. In its sixth year, SAFFRON NOLA continues to garner accolades such as JBF Best Chef South 2024, 2025 and New York Times Best 25 Restaurants in New Orleans. They continue to charm guests by tying in culture, local ingredients, and hospitality.

The Vilkhus have been in the catering business for 26 years in the Greater New Orleans Area, which was simply a passion project for Chef Arvinder Vilkhu and Chef Pardeep Vilkhu for many years. Over time it grew into an extremely successful business in which their restaurant stemmed from. The Vilkhus can create almost any dish from any part of the world while focusing on gourmet catering for events as small as 15 guests and as large as 700 guests. Saffron Nola is an incredible restaurant. We have been dining there for years and each time we go there is something new and delicious on the menu. The lamb chops have no comparison anywhere - this is a must. The Charbroiled Oysters are another must. It is hard to not get these 2 items when you dine there. I could go on and on but I would suggest making a reservation and having that experience yourself.

Food was exceptional! The feel and the flow of service was great. Drinks came quickly and were great. Our party sampled several items and all were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
