This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but unfortunately, last night just didn’t feel the same. The prices have gone up significantly, which I could understand if the portions stayed the same,but they didn’t. The servings were noticeably smaller, and that really took away from the overall experience. The service is still great, and while the place was a bit noisy, it remains a solid spot. That said, my dish usually comes with a special seasonal mushroom that I always look forward to, and this time the portion was disappointingly smal, barely there compared to past visits. It just felt like the quality and generosity of the food has gone down, which is really unfortunate.

We try to come here every time we are in SD and we have never been disappointed with the food and service. I wish I could remember our waiters name because his service was outstanding. He was very fun and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine. I had the lamb chops and the squash blossoms and loved my meal. Great place to eat in Little Italy.

I have been here quite a few times in the past and this visit was the best! The Italian server was TOP NOTCH, by far the best server we've had there so far. My friend brought a birthday cake, and the server was so cool serving it up for us. Very sweet I ordered the Squid Ink Pasta with Octopus and iI would venture to say it was one of the best pastas I've had in a very long time, please let Chef know. I work as a Concierge downtown and i recommend the restaurant all the time, its very, very good.

Very loud, couldn’t even communicate with my husband, and it was only 5:45 PM. The waiter was not willing to change my order after 2 minutes I placed it.

We left about 10 minutes after being seated. While our server was nice she took way too long to take our order. For the price of the food I would expect much more efficient and attentive service.
