    Horribly slow service. One waitress serving everyone while some guy stood at the counter texting. She comped our check a bit, but we won’t be back. Food was okay.

    HI the food was wonder as ever but we were promised a table up front away from the very very loud music and that didn't happen. I will know next time to make sure we sit at the table up front. I do love this restaurant though.

    Food and drinks were exceptional! Definitely try the Irish Iced Coffee! Service was great and it wasn’t too loud until the live music started and even then, it wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself think. We would go back again if we are in Charlotte in the future!

    We were sat and it took a pretty long time before greeted by our server. He took our order and never came back. Our food was delivered by a food runner. No one came back to ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything else, our to fill our water back up. After finishing our meal we sat for some time thinking surely someone would come over to either take our dishes or ask if we were finished, never happened. At 7pm I looked at my watch and started to become increasingly concerned that no one was coming. We finally waved down a young man whom we thought was our server and asked for our check and some boxes (he seemed very annoyed by our request) but nether the less he said okay. By 7:15 still no boxes and no check. We see the young man again and and again make the simple request of boxes and our check, again in a very annoyed ton says your server didn’t come over? I told him…at this point I was ready to either walk out or pay the bartender…..finally roughly 45 minutes after finishing our food we were finally provided boxes and our check and we were able to leave Ri Ra’s. Needless to say I will be very very hesitant to book a reservation with them again.

    Great food, service and atmosphere. Fun uptown place to meet after work. Great beer and wine selections. Outdoor seating upstairs on balcony. Great place to grab a bite before going to a Belk Theater events.

    We ate dinner here before a show at the Blumenthal Center. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of asparagus. The chicken had grill marks, but it was so tough, I would barely chew it. Also, I wasn’t 100% convinced it was thoroughly cooked, so I removed it and ate my sandwich as a BLT on a bun. The asparagus was bland, with several large and very tough stalks included. Our waiter came by and asked if everything was okay and I told him, honestly, no it was not. He conveyed my comments to manager, who came to table to apologize and ask if she could get me anything else. I told her, no, the BLT would be okay. (I didn’t even mention the asparagus to them, as the chicken was the bigger problem.) She told me we wouldn’t be charged for my meal, and also she gave us a $5 gift card to apply. Our other meal, steak and Guinness pie, was passable, but not great. Overall, a disappointing meal, but I do give both our server and the manager high marks for customer service. We will not be dining there again, however.

    In the past, I have mainly been a lunch patron....so great to be able to get into this place after a number of years. Also great to be attending plays again at the Blumenthal! Thanks for a wonderful evening ~ we will be back again soon!

    Great environment but does get very loud when the drinking crowd rolls in. Pretzel bites, BBQ burger, and all sauces were very delicious. Sweet potato fries were also tasty. Fried fish was a little on the bland side. Service was friendly and competent! Will definitely come again.

    I’ve eaten here on 2 different occasions and both times the servers suggested the same 2 menu items….fish and chips or curry chicken…neither really appealed but it seems those 2 dishes are what the kitchen does best! And a burger! So this kind of puts me off the place. The noise level is too too for me….both times I left with a scratchy throat from having to shout at my dinner partner.

    We will not return. We made a reservation in advance, and it took forever to get waited on. The server was very pleasant and polite and told us the cook called out sick. The cranberry salad came without cranberries. It was not a good experience and there is no reason to return in the future. The only reason we chose Ri Ra is because there are very few restaurants open on a Sunday. So disappointing!

    Decided to go downtown for a Friday night dinner with friends and chose Ri-Ra because of the convenience, familiarity, food and “heritage”! Was not disappointed! Gareth, our server from Belfast, in the States for 6 months, was exceptional! Knowledgeable, courteous and a great sense of humor!

    Loved the atmosphere! We had the pretzel bites with beer cheese for an app, so yummy! We had fish and chips and chicken curry as our entrees! The food was great and the drinks were amazing! Our server was so fun to talk to! We had a nice conversation with him! Ri Ra is a must if in downtown Charlotte!

    We have been to Ri Ra before and like it enough to return before a show at Blumenthal. The food is good, beer selection great and service outstanding. We enjoyed the meal and ambiance, and Garth was superb.

    We enjoyed a nice Easter gathering after a show. Good selection of apps, drinks, and entrees without being overwhelming. Always have enjoyed the vibe of Charlotte RiRa. Nice relaxing dinner without all the fuss.

    They have posters in the establishment on showing top soccer leagues on TV. Got there right before a game and no TVs had soccer on. Had the ask them to turn on a game. Took them 15 mins to figure it out. They were clueless. The TVs were showing pickle ball and poker. Makes no sense.

    Hostess acted like it was a chore to seat us. Waitress reeked of cigarettes, like she had just come back from a smoke break. She also wasn't great about keeping drinks refilled. Food was decent, but not worth the price. My son got fish and chips, one piece of fish & a handful of fries is NOT $20 worth of food. Daughter's order was messed up, she asked for no onions on her burger and add bacon. It came with onions and no bacon at all. Menu was also small, not a lot to choose from. Anything from the bar is stupidly expensive. A shot of whiskey was $13 & they brought it in a big glass with a tiny bit in it. Also, the mocktail we got was $7 for basically sprite with muddled berries and mint. Ridiculous. I don't think we will go back.

    It had been a number of years since we were there. Service n food had gone down hill. We were pleasantly surprised. The food had returned to it's prior taste n the service was once again spot on. Shout out to our server Ciaem who was very attentive.

    Food wasn’t good at all. My wife had the fish and chips, the fish was powdery and dry. My pie was ok I guess, it was really just a bowl of the filling with a completely separate “pastry” lid placed on top, certainly not a pie. Mediocre at best. Will go back but will definitely not be eating there again. Eat somewhere else….
