Matteo's is on point every time I visit. To begin, the place is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The salad, pasta dishes and sides were delicious, and well presented. The wine list is appropriate and bottles reasonably priced. The service is top notch. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly. She was very genuine. I love Italian food, and Matteo's is just hard to beat.

First time dining here, stopped in over the holidays and wanted to check out the restaurant and food. The restaurant was generally quite and not very busy. There were quite a few servers for the number of customers. Our server came to the table 3 times to drop off menus, oil and water. Never asked if we wanted a cocktail or anything else to drink. A basic isn’t. We decided to try the salami style appetizer which has no pricing on the menu and it’s a item by item selection and priced around $4.50/ selection. Had to ask server for a menu card, she brought it after a wait and it was dirty and filled out by someone previously. She went and got another blank sheet handed to me without a pencil to select. She left put in the app order came back a few minutes later and took the order Veal picante and pasta dish. We enjoyed both of those, food was good and portions were decent. We had to ask for drink refills that came after our food was delivered. We ordered deserts gelato, and a cannoli. The gelato was more like iced sorbet and not creamy and cannoli was served cold. It was a generous portion. Finished with espresso which was good with warm frothed milk. The bill before tip was over $100 without any alcohol. I am on the fence about returning, the service could be better, the food was good but not memorable.

Matteo’s never disappoints us. This has been our go-to place to celebrate our anniversary for many years. The food is top-level and the staff is very responsive and attentive. I highly recommend you experience this great place and awesome people!

Charming traditional Italian-America restaurant. Classic dishes served attentively in a white-table cloth (but not stuffy) atmosphere. Right on the historic courthouse square in Noblesville. A tasty and pleasant outing. Count on relaxed service. It’s a place to take your time.

Fast and delicious lunch options. The Prosciutto Panini with Tomato Basil Soup were perfect. Lasagna was the best we have ever had. Jordan did a great job as well. We are looking forward to returning.

Our table for 3 was ready upon arrival. Our server was prompt, professional and attentive. The bread was served warm, the fried ravioli and portobello mushroom appetizers were filling, but that didn’t prevent us from enjoying scallops, fillet and pizza for dinner. Always delicious entrees at Matteo’s looking forward to returning

Everything was amazing!! My husband and I came here before a concert and unfortunately were in a bit of a rush, so we didn’t get to relax and enjoy as much as we would have liked, but the food was fantastic. We started with the bruschetta which was amazing. I had the penne norcia and it was perfect. The ground sausage and tomato cream sauce paired perfectly together. My husband had the rondelli di spinaci e ricotta. He was a big fan of his as well!! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I cam here upon a recommendation, as we are from out of town. Matteo's was an outstanding suggestion and our evening was most enjoyable. Appetizers, the wine, main course and dessert were all noteworthy. When we return to the area you can bet it will include another visit to this gem of a restaurant. I expected a violinist at our table any moment.

Unfortunately, this is the second bad meal in a row I’ve had at Matteo’s. We had a 4 top reservation for my Dad’s birthday and with the front of the house almost completely empty, we were seated at the very back across from the kitchen by the restroom. Not a huge deal but unnecessary. I had the chef special ribeye and it was fatty, arrived cold and raw, and needed to be put on the grill. My wife had mastaccoli and the sauce was inedible and I’m not nearly as picky as her. It was an awful meat sauce. The other two meals were the tortellini which were ok but not nearly as large and good as it used to be. Very little ham or mushrooms. I should have complained but I have a really hard time doing that, I feel like Im punishing the waitresses/waiters when I do. Considering we had a $200 bill with just one drink each, I definitely should have. This used to be my go to for great Italian but it has gone downhill big time for some reason. Won’t be returning.

Matteo’s never disappoints. Always DELICIOUS. Seafood lasagna was the special I ordered. Incredibly rich-I had to pack up the leftovers. Take a date or bring a crowd. Perfect for both.

The food was fantastic, simply excellent. How our dinner was an hour & 45 min start to finish? Pretty unnecessary on a Monday evening. The entrees took just under an hour to come out - way too long.

Our meal celebrated our 46 th wedding anniversary. I indicated this on the reservation. We are used to being recognized for this, but not at Mateo’s. Our waiter was aloof, acting more like we were a bother than a guest. The manager did stop by briefly to ask if the food was fine, which was average. We just didn’t feel like going into detail with him. By that time, our special mood had dissipated, and it was just another meal out. We were disappointed, and won’t return.

One patron's meal was wrong order so that was returned to kitchen and the correct entree was served when the three other diners were finished with their meals and yet the full price was charged for the mishandled dinner.
