   The restaurant was very nice in a gorgeous setting. My only complaint was value of the meal compared to most other high end Steakhouses. I am a traditional steakhouse guy. I’ve have the good fortune of traveling and seeking out some of the nations prime steakhouses. I recently returned from a NYC trip and two old school steakhouses. Gallaghers and Wolfgang’s. The quality and quantity of our steaks and sides were far larger than 22 Bowens. No question 22 Bowens was good food and beautiful setting. But not worth the price in comparison. You’ll have a lovely evening, but they could easily charge less or give more and still make a ton of money.

   One of my favorite Newport restaurants nestled amougst the lively marina in the downtown area. The steaks are consistently great, the truffle mac and cheese a personal favorite and the service amazing. I highly recommend this establishment.

   Overall, we had a great lunch. We were waited on quickly and efficiently. Our food was brought promptly and prepared well. My only disappointment was that I had indicated on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. There was no mention of it.

   22 Bowen’s always delivers it is a quintessential Newport experience the setting on bones wharf makes it magical when you walk in and also when you walk out, the food is always predictably consistent. It’s a professionally run restaurant and you’re guaranteed to have a great experience.

   Our waitress Caleigh was very tentative and delightful Food Halibut and steak was delicious Olivia was very helpful with future reservations Matt always there for assistance if you need it Cindy and Norman
