   Everything was top notch. Pricey...$222 for two drinks, an appetizer and two entrees, but food was delicious!

   Food was okay. Quick service. Unfortunately was seated in the only area where we really were barely able to see the koi ponds: right against the thatched wall. Disappointing for our anniversary dinner.

   We love this restaurant! Almost everything is perfect and the people are incredible. I would say it's probably one of the best jewels on the island.

   We went to Tidepools to celebrate a special occasion but felt overlooked and forgotten. We were excited for the food but felt like the poke appetizer was mediocre and the Hawaiian fish entree was overcooked. Lobster was tasty but Ono and shrimp were super dry. My partner had the Opah and the fried rice was super dry and fish also overcooked; he also did not think the fish was super flavorful. We didn't order dessert because the other food was so mediocre. For a fine dining restaurant in a major resort, we expected amazing food and was really disappointed. The service was also lackluster. I don't know if it was because we were one of the later parties to be seated but waiter never really discussed the menu, checked in on us or interacted much. He was super inattentive. It was a pretty disappointing anniversary dinner. Service and food could be improved.

   This was the best meal and experience I ever had! Juan made our anniversary dinner so special. Loved the food but his service iced it! what a gorgeous location and amazing food! Can’t thank Tidepools enough for making our day special.

   Food is excellent and ambiance is even better. A little pricier than some of the other options on the south shore but location makes it all worth it.
