   Started with warm biscuits (amazing), followed by spicy gumbo (amazing), ordered the surf and turf where the steak literally melted in my mouth. Lobster was good, not great. Brussel sprouts and asparagus very good and tasty. Had some sort of apple pie turnover with ice cream which was excellent. Service was great, ambience great, just a very good experience overall. Thank you Devon Seafood Grill!!!!

   Devon Seafood is our #1 go-to for a comfortable, yummy dinner out. We don't adventure far from our favorites, but when we do, it's always good. Mom loves the Maple Plank Salmon and I'm in love with the Crispy Rice Sushi along with their house salad with goat cheese and dried cherries. A few things I'd like to see them improve on that don't impact the experience: - we often have broken shells in the oysters. Cracking open an oyster is a skillset, not always is the person doing it skilled. - when dining outside, there can be long periods when we don't see a server, of course that depends on the server. - they have an obsession with plastic plants outside. Thank goodness they got rid of the giant hedges, but now they have round pots and put one in a spot at the end where we always like to sit because there's room for mom's walker. They don't need the plastic potted plants. It's a city sidewalk. As I said, these are not detractors, just little things. We keep going back, so it must be good! Things we like: - the food, of course. - the interior is very warm and inviting. The barrel ceiling in the main dining room is interesting as well, although we prefer the bar dining area and looking out onto the park. - servers are always pleasant and attentive (except for outside at times). - despite the pause in service at times outdoors, we do love sitting there OR at a table at the window in the bar when the weather is nice. - the bar is a great gathering spot and the view of the sidewalk and park is great.

   I booked this reservation to celebrate my Mother’s Birthday. Initially walking in the hostess was exceptionally nice and said Happy Birthday to my Mom! Our Steward was just okay… I could tell he was juggling a lot of tables all around the restaurant. It kept taking him time to come back to our for everything. Which made the experience lagging. He never acknowledged my Mom’s birthday and he forgot something that I ordered. Now, let’s get into the food it was subpar which is surprising the last time I dined here I thoroughly enjoyed everything this time not so much! The brussel sprouts way over cooked, the warm farro and kale salad way too salty and the firecracker cauliflower was just okay you could tell it was just a bag of frozen cauliflower. I will say the bartender saved the experience was led the review to 2 stars! I would definitely go back for the Blackberry Jalapeno Margarita! I do hope it was just an off night for the chef and our Steward was just overwhelmed with the amount people he had to cater to.

    The apps were amazing— we had oysters, firecracker cauliflower, calimari and the crispy rice tuna. The biscuits are out of this world. Our waitress Alexis was the best. Very attentive and personable.

    Very fast service, very good food. The crabcakes are well seasoned crabmeat, flavorful and a good portion. The starter biscuit was delicious. We chose the apple tart and mixed berries as our desserts and that was a perfect finish!

    Very unorganized front of house. Steak ordered medium came out Very Rare - waiter was upset as well. They re-cooked the steak which for some reason took 10 + minutes. Ended up being very good. Mussels were very good although food server never brought anything to put the shells in. Sea scallops were excellent. Very good. Worth going. Waiter tried hard to please but multiple servers were not really fully trained and it did show.

    We were picking a friend up at the train station and we had reservations. Unfortunately her train was over 1 hour late. We called they were so kind to squeeze us in quickly even though they were booked solid, Thankfully we called and let them know the situation. They could not have been more kind to us. Our experience was so enjoyable and everyone from our waiter to the hostesses at the hostess stand. Our food was very good, I ordered the Twin Lobster Tails with the Petite Filet with Brussel Sprouts and Asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly and thoroughly I enjoyed every bite. My husband ordered the swordfish and although he thought the serving was very small he said it was very good. He was just disappointed with the portion serving size. Our friend ordered the Salmon and she said it was very tasty. We all enjoyed our meals and we would definitely dine there again. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. A nice dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

    Our waitress and staff were nice. The overall ambience was good. I made reservations for a week in advance, but ended up with a table between the ice station and a napkin/silverware station. The company made it not matter so much, but it would have been nice to have a better table for a 50th bday celebration. The food was good, but almost seemed to have the same overall greasy taste. The halibut and pan seared ahi tuna was well made, cooked just right. Twice we found one random French fry in our food. One random French fry in the Calamari appetizer dish and then again one French fry mixed in the the asparagus in one of our main dishes. Dessert and dessert drink was really good. I gave it a 3 stars because it was good, just not what I expected for a restaurant on Rittenhouse square.

    My service was TERRIBLE my waitress got everything wrong especially my beverage I ordered a virgin mojito we had a whole conversation about what I was ordering and she still brought back a mojito full of liquor and I don’t drink at all not even a little bit then I ordered green beans and I informed her I’m allergic to walnuts yes she brought me green beans and walnuts instructions are not that hard to follow Amanda definitely and absolutely more training will never return

    The food, drinks, and service were outstanding. The noise level was energetic, which we expected once we were seated near the bar area. What caught us by surprise was the cold draft (and accompanying cigar/cigarette smoke) coming in through gaps in the front window wall. A better table would’ve made a big difference.

    Food was almost done right I ordered my 8oz filet med. Well and it came out well done but my wife had a 6oz filet it came out med. So instead of sending it back we switched steaks and made it work the apps and sides were on point and our service was top notch had another great dinner at Devon
