   This is a small, warm feeling, locally owned type of restaurant, with a low-light up-scale atmosphere.. Many of the diners knew each other and would great each other as they walked by. The wait staff was very professional, friendly and attentive. The king-cut prime rib was hands-down the best prime rib I have ever eaten. The bacon-wrapped scallops were also very good. A great experience and will definitely come back on my next trip to St Louis.

   Slow service, warm food, no flavor, tight space between tables.

   Kreis’has been our favorite restaurant for years. The service and the quality of the food is always top notch. Absolutely the best steakhouse in St Louis. Kreis has earned a stellar reputation for its exceptional steaks, seafood, and particularly its world-famous prime rib.

   We had a fantastic dinner and service was impeccable. Only complaint would be that we were seated so close to those around us it was hard to not hear everyone’s conversations.

   Our table had the filet, ribeye and swordfish! All was excellent especially the ribeye.

   the waiter was in hurry and rushed. He walked away in middle of drink order - Was not attentive to table -- did not ask if we wanted dessert

   Just average is all I can say. I dined at Kries's many years ago and remember being amazed. This time it was just average, nothing really special like you would expect from a dining legend like Kries's

    For the price I expected superior food, which it was not. The service, however, was the BEST ever. The wait staff made us feel like. Allude friends.
