Kreis' Steakhouse and Bar, situated in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri, is an upscale dining establishment. My Grandson and I chose to go to Kreis' Steakhouse. Everything about the restaurant was excellent. Our steaks were cooked just as requested. There's certainly an endless list of restaurants to have dinner. Included with that a number of steakhouses. However, if you want to visit a restaurant that has lasted for decades because of their food & service, I'd highly recommend Kreis' Steakhouse.

It's been several years since I've been, but he food was delicious. The interior needs to be updated and the tables are right on top of each other. My Moscow mule should have been served in a copper mug and was not great. The server Maz, however, was great.

Fabulous dinner at this St. Louis institution. Excellent service at the bar and in the dining room. Highly recommended.

The food was very good. I knew the price range before going so it wasn't a big surprise. Our waiter was good but did not ask me if I wanted a send beer once I finished the first one. He also did not pour my first one for me...just put the bottle and glass down on the table. For a "classier" type of restaurant, I would have expected him to do those things.

This was our 4th or 5th time visiting Kreis’ Restaurant. Our waiter was Robert. He was nice and knowledgeable but kind of quiet. The food was excellent as usual. Special of the day appetizer we ordered was way over priced. Was a lobster shrimp frittes. Really small and not much lobster for $24. I had the queen size prime and my husband had the NY strip ( top 2%)one. Both were very good. Overall a very good meal for our anniversary celebrating 43 years. We will be back.

Kreis' Steakhouse is synonymous with St. Louis. It's steeply entrenched in an old-school, fine dining experience. The service is impeccable and the food is very good.
