An amazing dinner experience overall. Katie was very attentive and made great recommendations. The escargot, risotto and short rib dishes were all excellent! The crème brûlée cheesecake was also absolutely wonderful. The view was great and would absolutely recommend The Pier

Dinner, drinks, and atmosphere were all great. Our server Debra was exceptional. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We look forward to coming back for dinner soon.

Great view as always. Menu has dwindled and favorites are no longer offered. Prices have become extremely high for smaller portions- $41 for a small portion of pasta with chicken! We have been going to the Pier for decades. Disappointed in the changes over recent years as we use to enjoy this restaurant much more.

We have dined at the Pier for 20 years. Always a good food experience until this evening. My husband and daughter ordered fish dishes~walleye and salmon and said theirs was good. My granddaughter had a pasta dish that was awful and I ordered escargot which were tiny ( possibly cut in half?) and just tasteless. I could only eat two and my granddaughter could not eat much of hers. All of the portions were very small and very pricy. We were told that the Stafford restaurants were under new ownership the past 2 years. When our waitress cleared our plates she noticed our full plates and asked us about it. When we received the bill they graciously charged us half for those 2 dinners. She was absolutely delightful in every way which made our experience more pleasant. However~we will never return again. While the harbor water view is nice, it is not worth the high pricing and unacceptable food.

We were disappointed that the menu changed, specifically to find the calamari was off the menu. My kids had trouble finding something they wanted. My food was very delicious though.

Worst dining experience! First they tried to seat us, party of 6, outside at a small round table for 4 in full sun. Then we went inside, super loud, AC blowing on our table. My first drink was horrible, cucumber mint Gimlet that tasted of lime juice only, one whitefish dish was cold, 2nd was hot, my salmon was supposed to be done medium but was well done and served with broccolini which were consistency of wooden twigs. Portions were quite small. Ambience that of a noisy train station. Server was good.

Very disappointed. Been coming for over 40 years. Must have new owners/ management. Menu different and limited and not good. Charged $11 to add shrimp to pasta and was 2 small shrimp. No plank whitefish. VERY EXPENSIVE AND YOU DON’T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I’m very sorry that I cannot go back.
