We reserved upstairs because it’s so much quieter but our reservation was changed to downstairs due to a private party. It is EXTREMELY loud downstairs and I will not go back if I am seated for stairs. The manager was very helpful in seating us downstairs and everything about our experience was great except for the noise. Be aware of noise levels here if you are sensitive.

Had to wait over thirty minutes for our table and we showed up one minute before our reservation time. We were given a free appetizer which was appreciated and our waitress was very nice

Very vibrant, crowded and noisy on a Saturday night, which is to be expected. Given the crowds, I thought the food would be better, but it wasn’t great. Went for the bourbon list, but several that we ordered were not available. Overall, it was OK, but I wouldn’t recommend.

I've had a few professional meetings here but this was my first experience here with friends. The customer service is superior, as is the location. The food was better during business meetings. The drinks were great. The price was expected based on the location, however, I've had a much bigger portions for less dollars in restaurants not in downtown Chicago. I recommend this place if you enjoy the pace that this location offers and for its excellent customer service. In an era where customer service doesn't seem to be a priority, I'd return here just to be treated so well.

Everything was amazing. I’d been there before but sat at the bar, and just had drinks. The service during a Saturday brunch was outstanding, as Fiona was super sweet and attentive even though it was extremely busy. Ryan checked in and took care of us well. The food, top notch. Overall.. great experience! We will definitely dine at Luxbar again.
