The timeless décor and gracious service make for a dining experience as memorable as it is delicious. The menu is an effortless melding of French culinary simplicity artfully plated. La Table is, arguably, the best Classic French Restaurant in Houston. For those who like a quiet atmosphere amongst serious eaters, La Table is ideal. And the lengthy List of Fine Wines provides ample opportunity to enjoy France's finest. Superior Wines, Food, and Service are costly. A Couple ordering one bottle of good Wine ($100), should expect a total Bill of $300.

Possibly the best French restaurant in Houston. This is French inspired with a little Texas twist. The meal started with a black truffle veloute that was just amazing. I think it was the cayenne pepper flakes. I had a French onion soup that was very good. Sweet onions and the addition of ricotta made this slightly thicker and creamier than a traditional version and it worked well. I also had the risotto with lobster artichoke and spinach. Very pleasing, very filling yet i saved room for the chocolate soufflé. My wife had the lump crab with avocado, soy yuzu vinaigrette endives followed by the roasted lamb with yukon gold potatoes and lamb jus. They have valet parking in front and on the weekend self parking is also free in the back lot. Not sure you pick a bad menu item here. We will return.

Delightfully Scrumptious! If you haven’t dined there in a while, now is the time to go back! The handmade mushroom ravioli with the fresh French black truffles are to die for! Not sure what Chef does, but it’s over the top incredible. The Manager, Francis, makes you feel at home and the service is impeccable. What a wonderful evening we had, can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic Dining experience. I was amazed at the orchestrated movements of the waitstaff. Never wanted for anything. The tableside service of the cowboy ribeye was the highlight. Incredible flavor, so rich I could barely finish (but I did)! Wonderful hidden gem in Houston, we will be back!

Went for a birthday lunch during Christmas holidays. That probably accounts for noise level. Food and service was wonderful. They even took the time to help the birthday girl out with wine choices to take to a special dinner later.

If you want to drink in a nice atmosphere, this is a nice place. If you want to meet, eat and enjoy the company of your group, go somewhere else. The menu is horrible!!! For instance, the fish dish was just a piece of fish nothing else such as a veggie. They do not have any sides to order either. The ceasar salad barely had any lettuce. The burger was the best option. The quality of the meat was wonderful and juicy, but didn't have much flavor. The fries were GREAT! The salad dressing was punchy. The bread was so hard you couldn't eat it. For the price this place is NOT WORTH IT!!! There are toooo many great restaurants to waste your time and money at this restaurant. Also, it took 1 hour to receive our food. Our group will not be returning

This cozy restaurant overlooks Post Oak Blvd. So the view during Christmas is nice. The food from the start was fabulous with Cheese Soufflé, and Pate. Followed by the Duck and the Risotto. Maybe the best meal we have ever had. Our waiter Michaux was very knowledge about the wine and the food. The price is on the expensive side, but well worth it for a Special Occasion.

We had a reservation at 1 pm. When we arrived (for our Xmas lunch celebration) they told us we had to be finished by 2 pm because the event they had that evening was moved earlier. No one contacted me in advance to let me know. For fine dining, this is unacceptable. We left and went somewhere else. I was shocked at the rudeness of the entire situation. Totally unacceptable.
