   A little noisier than I’d have liked but overalls nice atmosphere. Felt that it would have been nice to have more than one cocktail menu as we had to send the server away a few times to give us time to browse one between four of us. I tried asking for another one but it was too noisy and he didn’t hear. Food was excellent and we had a lovely meal.

   Celebrated wife’s bday. Our waiter was Bertrand and he was perfect, attentive and knowledgeable. He, sommelier and other staff made for a perfect dining experience. We had venison, duck breast, iberico ham, wine & cocktails, dessert, all tasty and presented beautifully.

   Absolutely incredible food and dining experience. Came here for our fifth anniversary (after getting engaged at Hawksworth 5.5 years ago!), and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

   It is hard to imagine the number of tables crammed together in this highly rated restaurant. The two of us sat next to a table of 8 with 4 children dressed like they had come in from the beach. The noise level destroyed the ambience and it was difficult to hear the waiter. Our anniversary dinner was ruined.

    A truly memorable meal. It was our last evening in Vancouver and Hawksworth Restaurant did not disappoint. Superb dining experience with first rate service from knowledgeable staff. The only thing that we found quite shocking was the number of guests taking photos of food, selfies and the high use of mobile phones at table. In our opinion this is discourteous to the restaurant, the chef and to the beautiful environment. This behaviour is widely discouraged in the UK.

    Delicious food. Great service. Definitely expensive and almost absurd prices for vegetarian dishes. Excellent wine program. Only thing that surprised me was the dining room felt a bit old, worn and messy. Crumbs all over the floor and in the nooks and crannies of my seat like you would see on an airplane. Also ate breakfast there while staying at the Rosewood and repeatedly had to ask for my seat to be wiped because there was food on it from the last person who sat there. Every morning we ate next to a table where dirty dishes and spilled food were on the table from the prior party who sat there. Often was not cleared for over an hour. Completely unacceptable.

    Really nice space, great service, and good food. Had dinner and brunch at the restaurant. Was a bit surprised at the avocado toast- one small piece of toast with a mountain of sprouts and $22. Seems a bit pricey for what you get. Otherwise all dishes good looking and tasty.

    Overall a nice experience. Food was delicious. Service was excellent l. Vegetarian main dish that was all vegetables was very good but a tad ridiculous at $38. A bit surprised at how worn the restaurant appears physically. Needs some refreshing. Also chairs and seating were not clean, old crumbs everywhere, including the floors.

    When I visit Vancouver, I bring my aunt to Hawksworth. It never disappoints. The service is fantastic and very knowledgeable. The food is fantastic. It’s a place where you can relax and have a good conversation. I love this restaurant. It’s a classic.

    They went the extra mile to make the evening special. Other customers were noisy, which made it hard to hear at our table. (The room is noisy.)

    Did not live up to the expectation or hype . Food ok but nothing special . Wine we ordered was not available . Replacement wine was fine but we were not offered a taste before accepting it . We were not even asked if we wanted a bread basket . Appetizers were ok but not remarkable . Mains were good but sides were disappointing. Service was mediocre . All in all worst meal we had in our 4 day long weekend in Vancouver where every single meal we had was absolutely amazing .

    From the actual dine in experience We asked the server to make sure the food is hot. When the food arrived it was barely warm and the manager asked us if we would like to get a new batch and that she would take care of the bill. So we waited another 45 mins and got the food which was . But ended up paying the bill anyways. So we spent about 2 hours for our brunch and the experience was sub par. We have agreed that we only go there for the food not the service. Update April 2021. We did get a gift card from Hawksworth to redo our terrible experience however it expired during the pandemic. They did extend it and then we were told that we had to use it by March 31,2021. We emailed a manager Nikki Sideri and a reply has yet to be received. It is unacceptable that we have to dine in or get take out during Covid times when the gift card provided to us was in lieu of inconvenience and a sub par experience that we had dining at Hawksworth. All this has done has aggravated the inconvenience and not remedy the situation at all. I expect Better from Hawksworth when it comes to providing service. We have been unable to come there due to the pandemic situation and expecting us to use the certificate by a certain time limit is unreasonable. We also have lost confidence in cleanliness due to the fact that Hawksworth was closed due to staff outbreaks.

    We opted for the tasting menu which proved a very good choice. Three hours fled by. We enjoyed all but 1 course and half of that was great. The service was really special and this was enjoyed a by all in our group. Well done Hawksworth and thanks.

    Travelled to Vancouver from Toronto and one of the highlights of the trip was supposed to be watching the fireworks for the Festival of Lights. So we booked a 830 reservation to go watch for 1030. We didn’t even get our apps for 90 minutes and everything was slow service. Used to really love this place but it’s definitely changed. Place wasn’t even busy. Waste of time and $$.

    I did the tasting menu and thought the food was okay. But I wouldn't consider it fine dining. The service was great! The servers and the manager were very accommodating and friendly and made the experience much better.

    Fantastic service as always. The staff is amazing and the food was perfect. My wife has a dairy allergy and they made sure whatever she picked they would customize it to fit within her restrictions.
