   We had a reservation for two, it was my husband‘s birthday. We did mention on the reservation that it was his birthday, and nothing was acknowledged. We’ve lived on Maui for 40 years and rarely go out we only go out for special occasions. Unfortunately it was just a regular dinner nothing was acknowled!

   I am sorry that your husband's birthday was not properly acknowledged. We gladly offer a free Tiramisu' for the birthday boy (or girl) and sing a song....I guess there was a lack of communication and for that I apologize.

   The food was great. The only problem I had was you can't do separate tabs for more than 4 people. I'm wondering if this is the reason why the tables are not filled. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks and noticed business was pretty slow. I love the food so I hope it doesn't close. I was hoping to do a large gathering but if they don't do separate tabs, we'll have to find another venue. I will need to discuss with the manager.

   Our policy, and as far as I know the policy of most establishments, is that we provide up to four separate checks, regardless of the number of guests in the party. The reason behind the policy is that the possibility of confusion between different Credit Cards and different charges grows exponentially with the number of cards been tossed around...Thank you for your patronage. I will instruct my servers to make exceptions for you... We have been in business since 15 years and survived slow times before. Maui is now experiencing a very slow time. This too will pass. Enjoy the wave...

   We had the same meal we had while there in April… & the same cute, efficient, fun waitress… Chanel. Everyone else was lovely, too! The fried calamari was golden/ crispy as it should be. The upcountry salad is my favorite, & the lamb hops were perfectly medium rare!

   It was our 50th Anniversary, they help us celebrate with a great meal and dessert. The waitress and hostess were fantastic. All the servers were genuinely nice and attentive our needs.

   Delicious addition of the lobster roll! It’s great to have dishes accompanied by salad or fries. Pleasant staff. I was at the restaurant with three of us, and was surprised to see we were each charged an additional 20% tip. Is this a new policy?

   Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the lobster sandwich. Unusual for Hawaii's menus, but as personal favorite of mine. Our policy is to add automatic 20% gratuity to parties of 6 or more or when separate checks are requested. That was not the case for you and I apologize for the mistake by my server. The issue will be addressed.

   Really enjoyed the pasta—flavorful, well-cooked, and clearly made with care. Solid experience overall. Only note: serving bread alongside the pasta would elevate the dish and round out the meal. Small detail, but it makes a difference. Would definitely come back.

Bread is available on request as not all patrons want to add more carbo to their pastas...but your suggestions are very welcome. We are looking forward to host you again in the near future.    We arrived early and was seated immediately. Ordered the ceasar salad and paella for 2 which was perfect. Our waiter Riley was most attentive and service and food were excellent.

    bread was soft, I ordered the salmon and noodles - the noodles had been under a heat lamp and were hard - and the salmon was raw. NOT the usual I am used to. Substandard

    I am so sorry for your disappointing experience. Our home made black linguine are particularly sensitive to exposure to the heat lamp on the kitchen line and your server should have demanded the cooks to prepare a new one rather than serve an "overbaked" pasta. You have my apologies. We serve wild caught and then smoked Alaskan salmon. It's not cooked, just smoked at the factory. Thank you for your patronage. I hope that this substandard experience will not prevent you from giving us another try.
