Food and Service were great, I had Osso Buco and my wife had Chicken Piccata both were delicious . Best of all Wednesday are Wine Night, glasses of wine for $5. The only negative was the noise level. With stone walls and a metal ceiling a lot of echos.

The restaurant was amazing. From the friendly greeting we received at the front door to the great service we received from all the staff. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. They will not disappoint.

I’ve always said that the mark of a fine restaurant is whether or not they have meatloaf on the menu. And this one did. In all seriousness, the food was excellent and the meatloaf superb. Great service as well I highly recommend!!

We come to Galena every year and we always have to have dinner at Fried Green Tomatoes. As usual the food and service were outstanding. We started with the Steak Martini and the pieces of steak were very tender. Then for our main entree we shared the Pork Osso Buco, which was very tender. All in all we had a great dinner and will come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our awesome waitress Taylor! The best in the Midwest! Thanks Taylor for your delicious suggestions and pleasant conversations with and for us. The host and all of the team seemed to work well together. The food was delicious. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were delicious but we weren’t expecting them to be similar to eggplant Parmesan. We’re used to dipping in marinara instead of smothered style. Still very tasty. Taylor even remembered my Queens birthday!!! We will be back when we visit Galena again. What a welcoming community. 🎂🥳💗🥰🙌🏽

Food was excellent however the service was rushed. Plates were cleared as each person finished eating rather than waiting for all at the table to finish. Main was brought to the table while we were still eating our salad. We would not return or recommend to friends.
