We made our annual visit to Fried Green Tomatoes yesterday. We have been going there for years because the food is consistently good. My father loves the espresso steak. Unfortunately they had a fly problem yesterday. We spent our entire 75 minute visit swatting flys from our food, napkins, table, and ourselves. At all times there were 5-7 flys around our table. It was both disgusting and disappointing after driving 2 hours and looking forward to a relaxing meal. I mentioned something to our server and she agreed it was bad. The food was high quality with good flavors, but many items had cooled off by the time they reached the table. We had to wait several minutes to get sharing plates even though we told the waitress we were sharing the meal. I usually have nothing but good praise for this establishment. Hopefully this was a one off and they get back to a fly free experience soon.

Love Fried Green Tomatoes, excellent as always!! Our Grandson requested to go to dinner at Fried Green Tomatoes, he loved the bread and the French Silk ice cream!

We were celebrating my husbands birthday while visiting Galena & had the best meals we have had in a long time. His lasagna & my chicken piccata were delicious. Everything was perfect.

Amazing food and service! My husband and I recently ate at Fried Green Tomatoes for our anniversary. The food was amazing! Perfect portion sizes and the presentation was great! We even received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Thank you! We will be back!

So, so glad we decided to try Fried Green Tomatoes. Everything was delicious. The actual fried green tomatoes are out of this world! Our server was wonderful. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had!

We loved the fried green tomatoes, they are a must have! Everything we tried was very good. Service was excellent, we would definitely recommend this restaurant.
