My recent visit to this restaurant left much to be desired. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations on several fronts. Firstly, the lack of seasoning throughout the meal was quite disappointing. The lobster, in particular, was a letdown; it was overcooked, had an unpleasant grainy texture, and tasted like a subpar version of what you might find at a chain like Red Lobster. The prime rib egg rolls were reminiscent of those from PF Chang's but lacked the uniqueness and flavor I had hoped for, especially given the price point. Adding to the disappointment, we encountered an issue with too many bugs near our seating area, and some even landed in our food and drinks, which significantly detracted from the dining experience. In all, this experience did not align with the positive reviews I had read prior to my visit. Regrettably, I won't be returning to dine at this establishment.

Little pricey but overall great food and service. Steak literally melt in your mouth. Went for my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved it. Waiter put little candles on a cannoli and sang happy birthday

The Whaling Station was wonderful, from the warm welcome at the door to the perfectly prepared rib eye. Is it expensive? Yes, and while we cannot be regulars, we will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Don’t miss out on this place. We had starters and were so full at the end of our meal. The wedge salad , the short rib ravioli….so good. My husband had the clam chowder and prime rib egg rolls. O. M. G. Everything was so good!! You have to go here!!!!

We've been dining at Whaling Station periodically over the last 20 yrs or so. This time was our 1st visit in at least 5 yrs but happy to report that it's still excellent! Prices have crept up over time but the quality of food and outstanding service has remained.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which is a very simple menu. They are very quick with food and drinks but it does not feel rushed in any way. The staff were all excellent. Good free parking behind the restaurant.

Very expensive for value. I don’t mind paying for quality but $17 for a martini and $72 for a filet that was just okay. Ordered a twice baked potato and it was ice cold on the bottom. Very loud, you can’t even talk to your friends. I was bummed.

Great menu and food is high quality. Had great service from Jum , who has been with Whaling Station for 50 years and still doing strong - like the Ever Ready Bunny. 👍 A restaurant/business is only as good as it’s employees . Jum is a good example. 👍

Great steakhouse. Not cheap. But, you get what you pay for. Prime rib is fantastic. Other (non-steak) standouts are the firecracker shrimp and Caesar salad (prepared table side). We had a wonderful waiter. I will definitely go back.
