    We go to Chesters often-ish. But we go once a year for steak dinner for our anniversary. Let me start by saying we have the best server every time. Devon C. Sweet as can be, caring, attentive, she knows what you need before you know what you need! The steak. O M G. BEST STEAK ON THE PLANET! Beyond awesome. Gouda hashbrowns to die for. Fresh bread with butter. My drink was spot on perfect! And do not get me started on the chocolate cake. Amazing. Best chocolate cake I've ever eaten. Truly, our favorite spot to eat. We take our grandkids once a month and it's a treat for them. They LOVE it as much as we do. Do yourself a favor. Go ask for Devon C's section and enjoy!

    Light number of diners for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Nice booth, attentive service (including boxing your leftovers for you), and very good cocktails and food.

    We had a party of four for a Saturday evening. We had an experienced server. My steak was cooked to perfect inner temperature, the seafood was expertly cooked and generous in portion size, their signature oven roasted (formerly rotisserie) chicken was beautifully done, drinks were of decent size and the bartenders knowledgeable. Overall, the only elements that dampened the evening somewhat were that my comments in the reservation (2x) that this was a double birthday celebration were not regarded, and the extreme noise level in the restaurant which made conversation difficult and unpleasant. Overall, it was a good experience, and for the quality of the meals, we would recommend it to others.

    We always eat here when in town for Mayo appointments. The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. The crusted Parmesan walleye and meatloaf are favorites. And the banana cream pie dessert is amazing.

    Great food great service. A menu with a lot of variety. Everyone at our table was happy with their entrees. Try the bread pudding and banana pie for dessert. It’s worth the extra money.

    The hostess, server, atmosphere and food were all excellent. It’s a very nice location near Mayo clinic. We were fortunate enough to eat outdoors and it was a beautiful evening.

    An excellent place to eat. We have dined there the last 2 times we were in town and were not disappointed! The food was excellent, and the serving staff was outstanding. The first time we ate there my husband had the prime rib and I had the half rack of ribs and they were done perfectly! This time I had the Mediterranean Pasta with shrimp and it was very good! While the quality of the food is important to a restaurant, often times the professionalism and personality of the serving staff is what makes the dining experience what it should be. That is one thing my husband and I have noticed about Chester's. On both occasions we have dined there, we have noticed how much the servers and other staff make sure we have a pleasurable experience. This is particularly worth noting. Much appreciated!
