                                                                                                    I’ve been to this restaurant before when it was very crowded and we still had very quick service. This time I made a reservation and got there right on time and there was still a very long wait. I only saw two other tables with people so I’m not sure if they were short staffed But I did see a lot of servers standing off to the side. It took a while to get our food. the prices were good, but we tried to order a pizza and they were out so the other options were good. It just took a very long time even though they weren’t that busy.

The place was very busy, as can be expected, and we took a table in the bar because the restaurant tables were not ready at our reservation time. It was noisy, of course. The beer was good. We ordered the prime rib and mashed potato special. ($29.95) At 5:30 they had run out of mashed potatoes. The meat was small, thin and a bit overdone for medium rare. I think you should stick to the bar food type offerings. This is a beer and bar food type restaurant for people who like casual dining. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food took a while to get to us.

Lots on the menu that make you want to return & enjoy another day. Highlight of the meal: cheesesteak eggrolls were delicious!

                                                                                                    Our server, Eva? was great and kind, but actual service itself was a bit slow. Our app came out before our drinks. They maybe were a little short staffed. Restaurant wasn’t super crowded, but we did have a 7:30 reservation. Food was good, and plenty of food to take home for later. Dad’s beer flight was tasty.

                                                                                                    I made reservations for a party of 7, to have a late lunch after my daughter’s High School Graduation…although the food was delicious-(5 stars)our waitress was very accommodating and nice-(5 stars) Our table was a sticky mess…I didn’t even bother saying anything, because I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and it seems like this is how those tables are these days..( 2 stars) When we were seated our table was right behind the kitchen - so the heat from the kitchen AND the fact that it was 79 degrees in the restaurant made for it being slightly uncomfortable…my husband asked if the A/C was done and our waitress said yes. ( 2 stars) All in All not the worst experience but could have been better. Would I recommend the Iron Hill in media - for the food YES, everything else- NO!

                                                                                                    Decided to havecan early dinner on this beauriful Fall like day. We had a seasoned waitress, so sorry--I believe her name is Tracy. She has been there a long time and is a great waitress, makes you feel like you are eating in her house. It wasn't too crowded the time we went so it was a relatively quiet dinner, sun still out, went for a walk after and got some ice cream.

                                                                                                    I have not been to Iron Hill in awhile. The service was very good. The food was very good and plentiful. It was very loud in the restaurant. I would recommend making reservations especially on weekends. The homemade root beer is still delicious. I recommend Iron Hill.
