Huge fan of Firebirds, have been going to the one in Delaware for years. Horrible experience in Chadds Ford on Fathers Day. Service was abominable from check in to exiting the restaurant at the end of our meal. It was our waiters first day so we tried to give as much grace as possible but he forgot to bring our drinks, forgot to put in our appetizers, food took over an hour to come, steaks were not cooked as ordered, items missing, etc. Front desk was confused and overwhelmed upon our arrival and the young lady that brought out our “wrong” food out was rushed and rude. Everything about this $300+ meal was a disappointment. My family made the best of it and we enjoyed one another but we will NEVER return to this restaurant.

We went for Father’s Day. The restaurant was very busy and it seemed like they were overwhelmed. It took over an hour before we received our food and then my prime rib was cold and dried out. They did replace it and the new one was better. But honestly, it wasn’t that tasty. Overall, I was disappointed. We have been here many times in the past so I’m not sure what has changed.

We waited 33 minutes for our table with a reservation. The Lemon Drop martini I ordered was alright. I ordered Parmesan crusted chicken and it was dry and lacked flavor. My daughter's steak was over cooked. My server brought me a cup of coffee because it was freezing in the restaurant but never came back with creamer or sugar. She however, was the best part of the experience. We won't be returning.

We always enjoy an excellent meal at Firebirds. The food takes great. Steaks have are well seasoned without being overwhelming. Augratin potatoes are amazing. Our server was friendly and welcoming even on a busy night. We’ll be back.

Perfect service. Love that you can order brunch or the regular lunch menu. Will continue to celebrate special occasions here. No complaints.

The wood fired grilled salmon was very burned on the bottom. The fish was moist in the middle but a bit dry around the edges. Otherwise, my meal was fine, but unremarkable. My husband really liked his pasta and shrimp dish. Also, we were seated at a table and there was cold air blowing right on us. Very uncomfortable.

My friends and I wanted to find a place to reunite after being apart for too long. We chose FIREBIRDS on route 202 near the Pennsylvania/ Delaware border and we now know we made the right choice! After being greeted quickly and given the option on where to sit, the 3 of us chose to eat outside since it was such a lovely night. They have a very nice patio settling. Kiara was quick to welcome us, we opted to drink only water but were told about some fabulous sounding drinks. Eric the general manager came by as well to welcome us and when we asked about favorites, he did a great job walking us through the menu. We all went with a dinner salad choice and none of us were sorry. Good size portions on all three salads. The ingredients meshed well together and were a fresh as could be. I also ordered the cheesesteak eggrolls to share. I’ll be sure to get them again. We never felt unattended to which can happen sometimes when dining outside. Both our waitress and the manager were quite attentive. If you’re looking to feel welcomed, well fed and a chance to connect with friends and/or family FIREBIRDS gave us exactly what we were looking for.

The food was good but unfortunately service was not. I think our waiter had the entire happy hour room to cover. There was a long wait after we ordered for our food and then for our bill

Service was excellent and our server was on top of everything. There was nothing wrong with the food other than we had better food at this restaurant in the past. The prices have gotten very high than previously experienced but that for a decent and quality steak, that’s the expectation. Overall a good experience and would definitely visit again.
