The Gabriel Archer Tavern was built in 1987 on footprints of an old farm shed. Today, its mission is to provide a memorable farm-to-table dining experience that's both delicious and nourishing.

In addition to a half-acre produce garden and greenhouse on site where lettuces and herbs will be grown, our chef works hard to find local farmers as partners in producing a menu oriented towards fresh and seasonal specialties.

Our wide variety of fresh selections from our unique menu will guarantee that everyone in your party leaves with a smile.

We have never had a bad experience visiting the Gabriel Archer Tavern. Food, wine and service are all excellent!

We enjoyed the scenery at the winery. It is a beautiful place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was not as I had hoped. My husband and I ordered an Avocado BLT sandwich and it was nothing special. It was almost burnt toast with processed avocado smeared on the bread. The bacon was good. It came with a small side salad that was fresh but just lettuce with a cucumber in it. I got the sangria which was the special for the day… it was a very dry red wine that I think they just put a slice of orange in it. Not very tasty at all. My MIL ordered a salad with salmon on it and enjoyed that with a Pimm’s cup to drink. She was not impressed with the Pimm’s cup at all. I was very surprised with our food experience and probably will not be back.

The was a warm day but we appreciated the fans as we dined outdoors under the trellis. Gemma, our server was terrific! My sister had the turkey brie sandwich and I had the meatballs as a main course. Delicious! Can’t wait to return.

The food at Gabriel Archer Tavern is always delicious. The chef is creative with the menu and the meal is always enjoyable. The Bourbon and Burger pairing is a hit!

Service was great . The wine was wonderful. The ambience was perfect. The couscous could have been great except I’m pretty sure it was over peppered. All I could taste was black pepper and it overwhelmed the rest of the spices. Crab cakes, charcuterie , and salmon were great. Felt a little rushed. If they want you out by eight they shouldn’t allow a 7:30 seating, especially for a fine dining experience.

It was our first trip to the Gabriel Archer's Tavern and it was a pleasure. Noise level was a little loud but otherwise, it was superb. Service, view of the vineyard, and food were all great.

This restaurant sits on a vineyard. Our experience was absolutely fantastic. Wait staff was friendly, food was delicious, beverage selection exceeded our expectations. They have more than just wine on the menu during meal times. After brunch, with full bellies, we went to the winery where they have several different spaces to sit and taste a variety of types of wine extending from sparkling to Malbec. If you’re not a wine drinker, grab a cocktail from the restaurant OR delight yourself with some brews from the fridge which is also stocked with Pepsi products, Perrier, and cocktails in cans. Overall an exceptional experience. 10/10 would recommend. No notes.
