El Larkin’s on the River es un restaurante galardonado de carnes de res de primera calidad, mariscos frescos y vinos selectos. Cada elemento del menú se elabora con los ingredientes más frescos y se sirve con un toque creativo. The Larkin's 20th anniversary "White Hot" party begins at Larkin’s at Camperdown (32 E. Broad Street) with a specially curated four-course tasting menu that highlights guest favorites from our very first menu through today. It’s a culinary journey through two decades of flavor, crafted by the team that helped define Greenville’s dining scene. After dinner, the celebration continues at The L (211 E. Broad Street) — just a short walk away — where guests will enjoy live music by Randamonium, dancing, and a full bar with specialty cocktails available for purchase.                           We went for restaurant week. All 3 courses were excellent. Our filet was perfectly cooked medium rare. So tender too. The asparagus was perfect too. Not overcooked, not undercooked, but just right. We had a delicious wine. Crème brûlée was the best. You can always depend on Larkins for a delicious experience. So glad we were seated in the back. The front was loud.

                          Had Restaurant Week Menu Dinner. Selection options very robust. My husband and I both ordered the same item--small filet mignon. His was decent size and perfectly cooked. Mine was about 2/3 his size, flatter and over cooked. Did not taste like filet meat. Everything else was very tasty and service by Anna excellent.

                          Ordered cocktails with our dinner and first course arrived before our drinks did. Then the second course showed up before the plates from the first were even cleared. Both courses showed up without the proper silverware and we had to ask for it. The food was delicious, but this was not the level of service that I would expect from somewhere like this. We barely saw our server most of the night.

                          We were there celebrating my mom's 81st birthday! Excellent food! And we did the restaurant week special (3 items for $50), so was a great deal! Our food came out at vastly different times, though - throughout the meal. So much so, that some were done eating when some of us were just getting our plates. Why? That is so not OK, especially at an upscale restaurant! Not much personality from the wait staff either. Kind of blah. And, the ambience is kind of blah. Not a lot of personality! So, would love to see them improve the service and ambience to go with the super yummy food!

                          Anniversary dinner fell during restaurant week so we enjoyed the fixed price offer. Appetizers salad and scallops were very good as well as the peach and apple dessert. Entres of steak and salmon were ok. Ask for medium rare and got medium well. Server was busy but nice.

                          Had 6:30 reservation. Waited at the bar about 1 hour. Then decided to eat at the bar. It was very crowded and the bar staff was overwhelmed. Food came out cold and the lobster Mac and cheese came out after dessert.

                          Always consistently great food and service. New location doesn’t have the views as the old one on the river; but it’s a great new space. Like most newer restaurants the design lends itself to being quite noisy. We have dined there numerous times and explored most of the menu items and all are great quality and prepared perfectly. Pretty good wine list as well. Highly recommended!
