   First time I'd been to the new location on Broad. It's really pretty and the decor is lovely and the seating very comfortable. Our server was Teri and she was the best, very personable and attentive. Will definitely be back.

   Great location for almost anything you are attending downtown. All the good things that Larkin's has at their other locations:she crab soup, clemson blue cheese salad, lobster mac and cheese, shrimp and grits. All delicious. The specials are good too: mushroom ravioli was fabulous. Really good wine and cocktail list. Our server Terry was just fabulous! Very attentive, friendly, accomodating.

   I have had several meals over the years at the old Larkin's on the river. last night we decided to try the NEW Larkin's restaurant at DECA, what a disappointment, had to send my meal back because the pork chop tasted like a car tire !!! They replaced it with a ribeye which had little favor if any. We won't go back, for a $200 meal I could go to a real steak house and enjoy a GREAT MEAL.

   Food is always delicious. I tried shrimp and grits this visit and had enough to save for dinner. Staff is always very friendly, and noise level low so I was easily able to read my book. Wonderful restaurant.

   I visited the old Larkins location many times and considered it to be one of my top 3 restaurants in GRV. This was my first visit to the new location. Upon entering, I was taken aback by the modern decor that is the exact opposite of what I think a prime steak house should look like - it felt unappealing and sterile. The menu is basically the same. I ordered the bone in strip steak - it was tough, slightly over cooked, and had too much gristle. I would give it 2 stars out of 5 rating - perhaps less considering the cost. The restaurant was <25% full but our service was not spectacular - slow to come to our table when needed. I ordered the apple cake dessert - taste and texture was not good - I would not recommend. I am sorry to say that this is a major step down for what was once a great restaurant.

   We went to celebrate our 36th Wedding Anniversary. Enjoyed diningnat Larkin's by the river. All the food was excellent. The staff was great as well. Would reccomend as a great spot to take your significant other.

   Our first trip to Larkin's since they moved to their new location. I loved the location -- the decor and the overall vibe. We sat in the Chef's Atrium which is across from the open kitchen and that was cool. The Chef's Atrium is between the front lovely bar and the back full restaurant. Nice and vibrant with all the action from the kitchen. I will say the bill seemed a bit steep -- We each 6 cocktails, but no wine, one appetizer, 2 salads and one shared desserts and two of the entrees were pasta. Our total bill was upwards of $350. That seemed a little steep for what we had, although the quality of everything was definitely good. There was nothing that any of us had that was over-the-top / can't wait to go back awesome, but solid.

    We were initially disappointed that the menu online had Lobster Rolls that were not on the Restaurant menu, however our new choices from the menu were both excellent. With the Bananas Fosters Bread Pudding our initial disappointment was long gone. Our server was also excellent.

    I would not recommend Larkin's at this time. This was a dining opportunity that was given to my wife and I as a gift, so we ordered the higher cost entrees. The setting was crisp and bright. The service was great. Our server was personable and offered good advice on dessert selection. My wife and I ordered the bone in fillet at a medium rare cook. The outside was charred, the first half inch was well done, the remainder was barely warm rare. My wife's was so rare that it was not warm by the bone. This steak was in the $80 range. It did not come with any sides as the side are ordered separately, served family style and have enough volume for two to three servings. The brussels sprout hash was delicious! The brussels sprouts, the bread, and the apple cake dessert were the highlights of the dinner. The steak was not prepared well, the mushrooms side dish was not my flavor, and the greens side dish was supercharged with pepper. Since the steaks we ordered were of the premium tier of steak selection available a knife case was presented with six of what appeared to be custom steak knives to choose from. We were told that they were all sharp. They were not. My knife could not cut the bread roll open without tearing it up. In the end I tipped well because the server was a nice personable fella and some of the food was really good. My experience may not be typical, but my wife and I were expecting a phenomenal steak and meal for the price that was charged.

    Party of 6 get together after basketball tournament. Hostess was wonderful to rearrange reservation number several times. Food was excellent, although for price would have expected elevated presentation. Steaks served by themselves on a plain white plate. Service time was lagging a bit - nearly 2 hrs seated from drink order to dessert.

    Got wrong menus, no seafood on menu. Had to ask for bread. No scotches on drinks menu. Long wait between server visits and he only had a couple of tables. Had to ask for sugar for coffee. Had to ask for spoons for deserts.

    Nice location and great service, but the food was not very good. Beet salad was made with inedible arugula and very little beets chopped up so they disappeared. Sea bass was overcooked and way too salty. I’ll come back to drink at the nice bar, but have dinner somewhere else.

    Dined with my sister-in-law and niece here before seeing a performance at the Peace Center. Wonderful experience at Larkins! Even though it’s pricy, the location to the Peace Center for a very nice meal before a show, can’t be beat. I had she crab soup, elk loin (which is entree only, sides you have to order ala cart) and one cocktail. Total $60 for one person.

    Loved all the windows and the calming blue color palette. Serenity was very attentive and provided great service and suggestions. There was a mixup with one of our orders, but a new plate was brought out quickly once it was discovered. The cheesy baked grits were amazing. The veggies that were served with the salmon (rutabaga, maybe??) did not have a lot of flavor. I think it would be better paired with other vegetables. My dining partners loved the sea bass, mushroom ravioli (plus chicken) and the chicken dish. All portions were more than ample. We will be back.

    We had Terry for our server, she was fantastic! Knowledgeable, warm southern hospitality and helped make our dinner a memorable one! We live out of the state of SC, but when we have the chance to come to Greenville we make reservations for Larkins. We were surprised they moved locations, as the atmosphere at the other location was a little more homey. The new location is beautiful, clean and has a fresh look. The food was delicious, they increased pricing, as we expected. We had oysters, Brussels, bone in filet and the best twice baked potato either of us have eaten. The desserts left us confused! We tried 2 different ones, the chocolate torte and the crack pie. On a 1-10 scale the desserts were a 6. Not up to par with the meal or the pricing for this restaurant! Overall, food was good, the price point was high.

    Very nice experience, from the time we checked in until we left. Our server was professional and attentive but not pushy. Food was wonderful, we will be back. Also the bar was very nice as we passed by but we didn't sit there. Highly recommend Larkins

    We had their Valentine's Day special menu. Portions were small for the price, but I personally prefer small portions. Salmon was delicious! The ribeye was not, but they fixed it for us without any complaint. We received 2 free glasses of champagne to celebrate and the other drinks (Pink Panther) were delicious! Dessert was the real star! Que rico! The bar area/entrance is beautiful. I can't wait to sit outside in warmer weather.

    Excellent food with exceptional service. This was the Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu, which was very good, but terribly overpriced for what was offered. I highly recommend Larkin’s, but would steer away from this particular menu in the future.

    Food and service were superb once we got past the host station. There was no acknowledgment from the host upon entering. A little disconcerting, and we were seated in front of the kitchen, which was a bit loud and busy. We were greeted by our server, Anna, immediately, and she was very attentive throughout the evening. We had the scallops, wild mushroom ravioli, and Mahi Mahi with creme brulee for dessert. All dishes were cooked perfectly and well balanced. It was an enjoyable evening and we will visit again.

    The food here was great for the most part! We had the calamari and that with the sauce given was the perfect mix between savory and spicy. Then I got the Mahi Mahi and Garlic Potatoes and that wasn’t bad at all! The Garlic Potatoes were my favorite thing I had. Very simple, yet the flavor was there. My wife had a 7 oz Filet with the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Twice Baked Baked Potato. The filet was cooked great and had a perfect char to it and the Baked Potato was great as well, but it’s pretty hard to mess up a baked potato. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was nothing short of disappointing. It looked fantastic but it had no flavor, so we don’t recommend. Our server was very nice and professional, but unfortunately failed to pack our left over garlic potatoes upon asking. No compensation was offered at all, she said sorry, and that was all. No knock to our server, but I personally think she could’ve at least offered a new side considering we paid for an entire side. Great atmosphere, but could’ve been a bit better.

    Service was amazing however, the food was simply “okay”. I ordered the salmon with squash. Nothing stood out about it. I rather had the salmon from Nose Dive. My son ordered the elk. He was unimpressed with his first visit to Larkins. I personally like the location on the river over the new location.

    I ordered the oysters and a 16oz ribeye. The oysters were very clean tasting and the ribeye was wonderfully cooked. My wife got the she crab soup, her favorite, and the 7oz filet. Our waitress was wonderful and the experience was too. Only complaint was two different bourbons that I wanted were out of stock. The old fashioned I ended up getting, and the pomegranate martini my wife ordered, were great.
