Gather in downtown Berkeley features organic local produce, pizzas, sustainable seafood, and humanely-raised meats that showcase the unique abundance of Northern California. We have a balanced menu of meat and vegetarian offerings, craft cocktails, and local, sustainable wines. The experience is served up in a warm ambiance of honey hued reclaimed woods literally “gathered” from the surrounding area. Directly across from the UC campus, it is conveniently located with parking lot beneath the restaurant, and just 5 minutes from Zellerbach Hall and Berkeley Rep.

Not the first time a group of us has visited Gather nor will it be the last. Always great service and great food and the outdoor patio in the summer is great to boot!

Great brunch spot! The bean and beet fritter with eggs was scrumptious! The biscuits with butter and jam were a great starter. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this spot, will definitely return!

I went to Gather to celebrate friends birthdays last Saturday evening. I requested that dessert be presented with candles but no singing. My request was ignored. I wrote the restaurant a private note, which went unanswered after 10 day. Very disappointing. I'll remember next time to not count on the restaurant for special requests.
