   Let me start by saying the service was very good & we had a very attentive waiter. I cannot remember his name and I wish I could so I could give him a proper shout out. My only problem was that the chef wasn't able to accommodate my fish allergy. I ordered brick pressed Chicken & he sent the waiter out with a message asking me how I felt about cross contamination. Most people with food allergies feel pretty strongly about cross contamination! Then he told the waiter the brick they use on the chicken is the same brick they use on the salmon. I asked if it could be wiped down or cleaned but I guess it could not. I felt like the chef should've come out and spoken to me directly instead of sending the waiter back-and-forth with messages about cross contamination etc. I'm sure he was probably busy in the kitchen but I felt bad that the waiter had to keep running back-and-forth to relay information.  Other than that it was very good.

   Our family brunch was very good. Food was tasty and our server and support staff were thoughtful. It was a tad loud, but we had a good time. Thank you.

   Ambience, service and food were great! Highly recommend chimchurri steak and chocolate cookie. Restaurant was busy, little loud but that was ok.

   The food was good as always. We visited before a Caps game slit was very busy! Our waitress was great. We didn't wait long between her visits and they had multiple staff running food and drinks to keep things moving. The Smith is one of our usual pregame spots.

   My family and I had a wonderful experience at The Smith. I would definitely recommend it! However, the steaks that my relative and I ordered were undercooked. The waitress who served us were kind enough to ask the chef to recook our steaks, but they were still a bit under for our liking. Nonetheless, the food was really good and the service was excellent!

   A great experience! Server was extremely friendly and very personable. Food was very good. When next I visit D.C., The Smith will be on the list of stops!

   Great lunch spot near my office. Service was very quick and friendly...good recommendations from Amethyst, our server. Dishes were creative and delicious....giant burger and wedge salad. Sunny sidewalk seating was a welcome lunch spot on a delightful Spring day!

    Good place, great location. Food is good, but not incredible. Vibe is nice and service, while a tad slow, is friendly and good. We like the joint
