This was ok, I think I just ordered the wrong dish as my dining companions seemed to like theirs. I am thankful that as a celiac they had several great options but mine was not as good as expected. I should have stuck with the basics:) On the other hand, the dishes my family got looked amazing so will have to try again.

After reading some mixed comments on Mother’s Day seating, we decided to give it a shot for Father’s Day. Everything was super smooth. We were seated promptly, our server Heather was great and food arrived timely and was awesome. Definitely will come again.

They have changed their menu and things taste differently now. The options are not the same as they were when we fell in love with this place. I realize this happens with restaurants per season, but we typically get the teriyaki bowl and the mushrooms were very sour changing the complete taste of the dish. They no longer offer warm pita bread with the hummus, but rather a crispy chip, which are still yummy, but miss the warm pita.

We’ve tried to give True Food Kitchen multiple chances, but the experience continues to miss the mark. Our server was clearly working hard and doing her best, but she was overwhelmed and needed more support. Service was slow at times, forgetful at others, and a substitution was made on our meal without asking—something we were told would be adjusted on the bill, but wasn’t. No manager ever came by, and no one followed up on a previous review where we shared similar concerns. For an expensive brunch, the issues and small portions made it feel like a poor value. We want to love TFK, but lately we keep leaving disappointed.

We have loved true food for years now but it seems like it’s slipping. I keep giving it a chance and it keeps letting me down. The food just is not as god as as it used to be, it’s a shame.

Always excellent experience and great food! The wait times for the food can sometimes be a little longer than other places, but it is worth the wait. Highly recommend the Edamame Dumplings for a starter, and the Grilled Sustainable Salmon for an entree.
