Excellent service and good, our party really enjoyed our lunch and sharing several small plates. Service was attentive and friendly and the rest of the staff were all very warm and welcoming. We love this place, which is unlike other Grotto locations in the best way.

Always a pleasure eating at Grotto!! Love this location to walk to after Astros games!! I had a butternut squash salad that was amazing. So flavorful!! That was a new choice for me. Chicken parmigiana was not on the menu but they made it for my husband anyway!! Huge piece of chicken enough to share!!

We had a reservation at six because we had to make a concert at Toyota Center. I got a text at 5:45 saying my table was ready but when we got there at six they said there were a lot of people ahead of us and it would be a long time before we got a table. That obviously was not going to work since we had to make a concert. The only choice was to sit outside which was not real comfortable and there were a lot of flies. I will say the service was good and the waitress was very good.

The grotto is conveniently located. We went to the Toyota Center for a concert and the restaurant is just a few steps away. The best part was the grapefruit cosmo. It was delicious. The food was all right. Our server was excellent. Mario was attentive and efficient. It is a loud place.

Always a great meal at the Grotto downtown Houston! The house salad is always super fresh and light. The shrimp pasta dish was delicious and nicely spiced. Our server was very knowledgeable and super friendly which seems to be rare these days. Thank you, Grotto, for a great meal!!
