Located at the "Gateway to Southtown," the Historic and Majestic Firehouse #7 is home to Battalion. After a nearly two year renovation, "The Rock" has been restored as the crown jewel of Southtown. Overlooking the spectacular downtown cityscape and the famous Tower of Americas, Battalion's contemporary design merges perfectly alongside the historic building's strong, yet weathered 1920's craftsmanship. Chef Davis has created an extensive menu of fresh pastas, char-grilled meats, stunning vegetable dishes and Italian classics. Complimenting the menu is a comprehensive wine list and a refreshingly original cocktail program.

    Our waiter was very informative very well spoken he paid attention to Detail. He gave us some great recommendations based off of our preferences and what he had suggested to us the one he ended up serving us was amazing some of the best Italian food I've eaten in a long time. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a beautiful experience And a savory meal with a dash of romance.

    We loved our food and our waiter. Sitting outside was wonderful because the noise level was absolutely nail. I have been before and got stuck inside and couldn’t even hear the person next to me. I will be back again.

    One of the best restaurants in SA hands down. Get the bread service with whipped ricotta. The beef tartare is extraordinary. The spinach dumplings are unlike anything I’ve ever had before and my new favorite thing to eat. The brown butter sage ravioli transported me to a new dimension. The staff is friendly and passionate and knowledgeable. The manager Megan took the time to make me a list of places to check out in SA when she found out I just moved here! I could go on and on. Eat here. You’ll want to come back regularly. It’s DIVINE.

    Every time we come here it is a great experience. The food is always top notch and elegantly presented. The service(that means you Kelly) is superb. Attention to every detail and friendly as well as professional. The value is there as well. It is a chefs restaurant so not fast food prices. Srill.is worth every cent.
