    Service was very slow. It took over 2.5 hours for dinner. Unfortunately not enough waitstaff.

    Lovely experience. Good and service were both excellent. Noise level was a bit too loud for our group, which had trouble hearing each other across the table.

    This was my second chance at the new location. The first time we went on Mother's Day and it was a real train wreck. Knowing it's the worst possible day to eat out in Houston, I felt it desired it. The food was excellent (no complaints except for the cinnamon roll). The service was just as terrible as Mother's Day. It's a real shame how this has gone downhill since they moved from the original location. The restaurant wasn't too busy but the servers were fairly non-existent. What was also non-existent was the $14 cinnamon roll side that I ordered. I advised the food runner when the meal came out but he never came back with the cinnamon roll. We finished our meal and finally our server showed up. I told her that cinnamon roll was missing and she apologized and then got it bagged up to go. The elusive cinnamon roll was finally brought out and it was smaller than a Cinnabon you would get at the mall. For $14, I was thinking a small set (like 6 smaller ones) or a really large one. Needless to say, I'd never order it again. The icing on the cake was that when I finally ate the cinnamon roll later that night at home, it had a hint of cleaner. It tasted like they just cleaned the baking tray or whatever it was put on before being bagged up and it absorbed into the cinnamon roll. Also - I would have thought they would have taken the $14 cinnamon roll off the bill; they didn't. The manager was too busy watching tv at the bar inside to care about anything going on his restaurant. RIP La Grigla. You had a good run. I can't wait to see what other restaurant moves into the newly renovated, beautiful space.

    We had an amazing night with a proper Italian ambience, delicious dishes and beautifully crafted drinks. Highly recommended!

    Be sure to get the Keylime the Seabass was wonderful and the veal was divine. However, the tables were really close together and it seemed like the waiters were swishing in and out, and it got noisy even at 6 o’clock for a table of four to talk but the food and the service were excellent.

    My tennis buddies and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I had the sea bass with Nonno potatoes which was delicious.
