   We need to wait for the waiter. Few times came two different waiters and repeat the same. Food was cold when arrived to the table. Wine arrived when almost finish the food. Was expensive for what we had . Was not consistency on the dirty martinis.

   Severs were very attentive but the follow through was terrible. The food took forever to arrive. My fish and my wife's steak arrived cold. I sent my fish back. When my fish came back, it was just the same fish reheated and now overcooked. My son's pasta barely had any sauce on it. We asked for more sauce. After asking 4 different servers, it finally showed up 20 minutes later. After the sauce arrived, we were told it was an extra charge but they would take care of it. When the check came, the $5 charge for extra sauce was still on the bill. Also, we asked for salt because our food was not seasoned at all and the salt shaker was empty. We also ordered dessert (tiramasu) but to go. It took 20 minutes and we had to ask about it then it finally showed up. While I understand it was mother's day, it was not very busy when we were there. Our reservation was at 515pm.

   Very enjoyable Mothers’ Day brunch at very attractive venue. The patio was very pleasant. Service got off to a slow start but was excellent thereafter. Great Bloody Marys and White Sangria cocktail. Dishes were generally very good; Rigatoni and Snapper dishes in particular were excellent. Key Lime desert was spectacular: aesthetically and flavor-wise. Overall, somewhat pricey but decent value.

   Enjoyed eating outside and for the first time at the new location after having eaten at La Griglia since the mid 90's. Cain, James, Paco, Barbara , Fabio and the rest of the team did our memories proud with great service and food! Thank you and see you soon!

   One of our favorite Houston restaurants having had a large, private dinner party upstairs and 2 other times for dinner. This fellow took a full night off, only he was our waiter for the evening. But this time, perhaps the worst waiter we've ever had. Hands down. Pasta came after main entre, never received olive oil, butter or red flake paper we asked for several times. This fellow took a full. Ight off, only he was our waiter for the the "special" restaurant we love for our 32nd wedding anniversary. Mr Fertitta would not have been happy. Brick chicken and veal piccata outstanding. Table side prepared special pasta was late, not hot and served after our entre. Oh well!! Everyone has bad days. But this one he shared with us!

    First time and hosted six for a celebration dinner. While very good overall, it was an uneven experience. We sat inside at a round table, and it was very hard to hear across the table, as it was LOUD and you almost had to shout to be heard across the large table. Felt like the waiters were rushing us through drink orders, when not all of our party was yet seated. While multiple wait staff attended to us, it didn't feel "attentive" and welcoming. Some waiters were friendly and hustling and others seemed "put out" and not so much. Food was very good overall but uneven as well. For example, the carpaccio appetizer was great (tender wagyu) but the muscles and clams were rubbery and didn't taste the freshest. Temperature of most dishes was not hot enough. Portions were more than generous most of the time. For a Saturday night, there only appeared to be mostly one turn of tables, so I didn't understand the uneven service. Pacing was rushed at first and then slowed. Why do I need to hang on to my menu for 30 min? Wine and water were slow to be refilled. Our sommelier, Josh, was great--provided great insights on the wine and wasn't at all pretentious. If only the other wait staff was as personable. Would I go back? I suppose, but I'd be a little more discernible about what I ordered and expect better service and evenness. Also pet peeve, valet parking serves multiple locations on this block and charges 7 bucks. While it was well orchestrated, I spent four figures at the restaurant and get nickel and dimed for parking? I expect to tip them, but extra charge seems to be a sign of the times, unfortunately.
