   NO ONE contacted me to say they were NO LONGER open for business. Please take your business off of the app so unsuspecting people like myself don’t make a reservation at a closed restaurant.

   The steaks were underwhelming, but the service was excellent. We were there during a time that quite a few young people were having either a prom get together or post wedding dinner and were quite noisy. The carrot cake was to die for though.

   We ordered an appetizer to share and when it came out we were told they split it 3 ways for us as a kind gesture. We each got 1 scallop, 1 shrimp, 1 oyster, 1 tsp size crab cake. The oyster was slimy. The scallop undercooked. Then when bill came we were charged for 3 appetizers at $29 each. We brought it to their attention and they quickly made excuses they split it to 3 plates. Then ma Magee corrected bill. My husbands ribeye was covered in spices to Spivey to eat. The prices and quality were off. Totally a waste of time and money. We definitely were taken advantage of!

   Great meal - we were a group of locals - guys ride in Endymion. Had to shift dinner to late due to Muses parade moving. Liz was great about helping get a later reservation!

    They ran out of toilet paper I the bathroom. Sat us 45 min after our reservation claiming the Kitxhen was backed up yet they had 10-15 empty tables, then told us they were out of soup and 15 min later we see soup being served. They did adjust out bill but I’m on vacation and would prefer good service etc I booked them with th expectation of the perfection they typically deliver at other locations. I will not go back here again too many other options in the city

    So this is probably the slowest service I have ever gotten at Morton’s. This was our groups go to place the friday before Endymion. The waiter popped in about every 30 minutes and twice forgot a person at our table’s drink. Three steaks where over cooked and was told that they could not do something off menu which was a standard they carried. Not even a I will check. Has Morton’s. Become just like every other run of the mill steakhouse.

    Our steaks were cooked perfectly! Everything we ordered was great. We had the cheesecake for our birthday celebration which was amazinG! It’s hard to park, but completely validated by Morton’s so worth it!

    We went for San Valentine. The level of service was as expected for Morton’s. My steak was overcooked but my girlfriend’s was perfect. Overall, we always enjoy dinners at Morton’s.

    I ordered a medium well filet it came all charred sent it back and they brung me one medium rare I had a empty cocktail class on table for about 15 minutes before server asked did I want another one , not worth the $$$ for that type of service

    We have been planning to visit Morton’s every time we were in NOLA. Usually stayed on Esplanade Ave and just never made it happen. We decided before our trip to make this spot our New Years Eve destination. Arrived right on our reservation time of 6:30 and were seated immediately. Denisse (Deni) was in charge of our table and was most pleasant and efficient. She took our drink order and brought water and bread and butter in short order. Janice chose the smaller filet mignon (rare) and baked potato. Really just “seared and served” as she likes it. I was undecided between the snapper and sea bass. Deni suggested the snapper was particularly good tonight, and l took her at her word. Both entrees arrived within a few minutes on warmed plates so they remained warm throughout the meal. My snapper was topped with crab meat and steamed veggies accompanied by a grilled lemon half to add as l wished. The fish was well prepared and the side of asparagus with hollandaise (sp?) completed the presentation. Very nice, satisfying dinner. Finished the whole thing with a chocolate mousse which was very light and delicious. Service was attentive and helpful on a understandably busy holiday night. The place was really buzzing when we left around 8:30, but we never felt hurried. Morton’s is a fine restaurant for special occasions but a little pricier than our usual haunts. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the evening with a very good meal in a sane atmosphere. Remember, this was New Year’s Eve in New Orleans; a great place to be. Many thanks to the chefs and staff—especially Deni for making it so memorable.

    There was nothing wrong withe the food, nor was there anything outstanding about it. The service was horrible from the front desk to the table. The temperature in restaurant was stifling. The dress code was disregarded as on Christmas night we saw parties wearing basketball shorts and t-shirts seated.

    Waited 30 minutes for our table. Took some time before our order was taken. Gave out soufflé order at the beginning of our order twice to two different waiters taking care of us and they forgot to put it in. We were disappointed and left. For a day we wanted to make special it definitely did not meet our expectations. We will not return.

    Overall dinner was nice - service friendly and waiter good, but forgot appetizer and to tell us that some deserts need time to prepare, so should be ordered ahead of time. Also, not all of the food that should have been hot was hot. Steaks delicious.

    Service st this location has reached an all one low. Manager took care of our situation, bit leadership should immediately address off-brand concerns and significant service deficit. Food was goo, all else not on Morton’s brand.
