Set up a celebration for coworker 50th birthday brunch here. Have'nt been here for over 20 years. Glad that it is still here. Service was 6/10. Food was 10/10! Ambiance was 10/10. Server was not around most of the time. She came around to top off our mimosa's, but other than that, we had to flag down help. Even after we were done, we had to go to the front to look for our server and get our tab for party of 9.

Great service! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Our mimosas and champagne were truly bottomless, our server Emily always made sure our glasses were full. The food was good quality and the omelet bar had one of the best omelets ever, thanks to chef. Will definitely come back!

Having heard positive reviews about its ambiance and food, I recently visited 94 Aero Squadron with high expectations. However, my experience left much to be desired, and it's unfortunate to say that the charm this restaurant once possessed seems to have dwindled. One of the main disappointments was the decline in food quality. The menu, which used to boast a diverse range of options, now offers fewer choices. The lack of a pasta station was particularly surprising and limited the variety of dishes available. The absence of this staple left a noticeable gap in the overall dining experience. Another aspect that contributed to my dissatisfaction was the choice of disposable cups for water service. While this may seem like a minor detail, it significantly affected the overall impression of the restaurant. A place that once exuded class and sophistication now serves water in cheap, environmentally unfriendly containers, which is disappointing and contributes to a negative environmental impact. The omelet station, usually a highlight of any breakfast or brunch establishment, fell short of expectations. The cook at the station seemed surly and disinterested, impacting the overall atmosphere. A lack of enthusiasm from the staff can quickly sour the dining experience. Moreover, the limited meat choices were a letdown. The menu seemed to lack the variety that would cater to different preferences, and the meat's quality did not meet the standard I anticipated from a restaurant of this caliber. In terms of value for money, 94 Aero Squadron fell short. With the decrease in food quality, limited variety, and the overall decline in the dining experience, it's challenging to justify the cost. The combination of these factors left me questioning whether the visit was worth the expense. First time here after finding it on social media and several word of mouth recommends. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Sometimes you read "buffet" and go.... crud the food will be trash. That was absolutely not the case at 94th! Great food, speedy champagne service with smiles and an awesome time. We will be back!

Sat night - almost empty. Service slow but very friendly. Prices VERY HIGH for an average restaurant. Menu not friendly for gluten or vegetarian folks. Restaurant had an “old restaurant” smell, then halfway through our time there it started smelling like machine oil. Not pleasant. We won’t be back for a long time.

We were disappointed. This was our "go to" place for a special holiday buffet before the pandemic. We went this year for Thanksgiving after several years of not dining out. The food was rather mediocre and not as varied, ie there was no carving station and much more limited dessert options. The cost was exorbitant at $100. per person (I believe it was around $50 before). Definitely not worth the extra cost. It is a lovely setting and ambience.

Worst dinner buffet we’ve ever experienced. They charged $100 per person upfront and served people with caned green beans, cream of corn, cereal, low-grade rough beef, mushy turkey and bagels for thanksgiving dinner buffet. Our dinner was completely ruined. The selection was so lack that even cranberry sauce, fillings, and boxed mac n cheese were displayed as the main dishes. Even a 12 year old girl said this was just like cafeteria food. I feel bad for all those people they put outside freezing with strong wind and having this kind of food for thanksgiving.

The place was just way too crowded. The seating area was a total mess. Getting someone to bring a drink was next to impossible. They have a two hour stay limit. I was ready to leave in less than 15 minutes. I do not recommend going here for Thanksgiving. It was really over priced.

The food was very good and plentiful. Overall well done for a buffet style setting for lots and lots of people, however, at $100 per person, it is just not a good value. I would recommend the Aero Squadron for a non-holiday dinner or dinner date but not for a Holiday event unless you have a large group to feed.

Went for Thanksgiving. Spent a ridiculous amount of money for a group of 8. The food was awful, plates were dirty, the buffet was a mess and had the strangest mix of food. No one kept it clean. Serving spoons were dirty. My piece of pie was frozen. My grandson grabbed boxes of Trix cereal (why was that even out for a $100 a plate buffet). Lesson learned :(

We enjoyed our meal and our waitress was very good. However I'm pretty sure that between the 3 of us, we did not eat even $150.00 worth of food! We also noticed that though the price went up $15.00, the single serving bottles of champagne 🍾 were not given upon our departure like last year. And yet you all still were not generous with the champagne. We're not lushes by any stretch of the imagination. I don't even drink alcohol, the rest of my party does; but at $100.00 per person that's not cool.

Sunday brunch for the win! Our server was so friendly and welcoming -- also attentive. Thanks Emily!! There is every sort of food you could want, from omelet bar to king crab to baked goods (baked offsite), as well as bountiful desserts (mm, macarons!). We enjoyed the carving station, the gyoza, the sushi ... so much food. Atmosphere is historic and interesting.

I apologize for writing a not so good review but my family and I had Sunday Brunch here yesterday. We're very very sad and disappointed with our experience. We didn't enjoy our brunch. The quality and taste of the food was poor. Our kids who love waffles and bacon didn't eat their food because they didn't like the way it tasted. We left the restaurant hungry. But our waiter was the best! His customer service skills were exceptional!

I would 1000% come back for their all you can eat and drink Sunday brunch! Food was delicious with an impressive selection of all different types of food. The champagne was yummy and the service was great! We had 2 people waiting on us at the outside patio and we never had an empty glass. The building is gorgeous and peaceful. For the price you really can’t beat it, there’s nowhere else in San Diego that you can get all this for $65! They also offer a military discount.

Being a native of San Diego. The quality of the food has decreased. When you think of brunch, you especially would like homemade waffles it is clear there’s are store-bought a lot of the options you can tell were from frozen example. Until last night, we has NEVER had a problem with the service or food. It was supposed to be a celebration of my daughter's 30th birthday in a restaurant my late father loved going to. It was not packed at all, service was extremely bad to the point where we had bussed our own table, gotten our own salt/pepper and plates and constantly had to ask for someone to attend to us. Food was worse. Calami was more batter than actual calamari. Chicken in the Cesar salad tasted raw and the easiest meal was a kid's grilled cheese that came last and no fires. Server was not worth 18% and a shot of Tequila was NOT worth $13. We had to light our own area with our phones. You turned our celebration into a bad memory. We could've gone to Jack and the Box for several months on what we paid for the night and gotten better service. We will never come back. I've lived here all my life and make sure to tell everyone I know what you did. Who is minding the store?

Love the ambiance and the decor. We had to order off the restaurant week menu but I only wanted a salad so we got a second prime rib plate. The prime rib wasn’t juicy and we ordered it medium rare and cut very thin. It didn’t seem like a prime rib and wasn’t as enjoyable as we had hoped. The mashed potatoes were very dry. We would go back but this trip was more like a 3 star one, not special like a 5 would be.
