            Disappointing return visit to Perry’s. Service was poor. One person was not served water, 30 minutes to get lemon for water, Steak on a cast hot plate was served lukewarm. No spoon provided for pasta and when one was requested a teaspoon was given. Espresso was ordered and a drizzle of cool coffee was put into an espresso cup. Waiter walked away from the table mid order for desert and didn’t come back for 5 minutes. Overall a disappointing visit to Perry’s.

            Food choices are excellent and very well prepared but the waiter service made the evening. He was attentive and not intrusive. Conversing with him was a delight and made the overlay evening excellent.

            I would not recommend the Prime Rib. It isn’t prepared as a traditional Prime Rib. Very crunchy floating in butter caramelized outside. Not the slow roasted version. The texture of the steak reminded us of a t-bone or sirloin.

            We’ve been going here on our anniversary for the last 10 years. This is the first time they didn’t put roses on the table and give us a free dessert for our anniversary. Food and service was still excellent as always. Just missed that special touch from all these years before.
