The new Ruby Lee’s on Wild Horse!
The new Ruby Lee’s offers more of what patrons of Hilton Head Island have come to love and expect in the past: delicious southern cooking and a comfortable yet stimulating atmosphere that offers the perfect way to enjoy sports or outstanding blues, jazz and soul from local and regional artists. If you’re not familiar with Ruby Lee’s, it’s a locally owned restaurant, started by Tim Singleton (known to Low-country residents as an athlete and head coach). The restaurant is named for Singleton’s late grandmother who is the inspiration for the Southern-style menu. The new and revamped version of the original; yet it still captures the Southern feel-good themes that have an uncanny way of making you hungry for fried chicken, shrimp and grits, corn bread, and sweet tea the moment you walk in the door. If, for some reason, you’re not quite ready to eat after walking in the door of Ruby Lee’s, you’ll notice a pang of hunger once you look at the menu.

I have celebrated my birthday June 21 2018 June 21 2020 n June 21 2025. Even though it was a different location, the ambience, hospitality, customer service n FOOD was still A1 on point. I could have stayed in Savannah but this spot is worth the drive. I booked for 3 not knowing that the invites that I sent via open table ended up having 11 guests🫣 But Tim said give me a minute n let me figure this out n that he did 🥰 So thankful to uou n your entire staff!! Ms Patti thank you for being sooo accommodating! Please make sure you have cash to tip your servers!! Will definitely continue to patronize RubyLees South! Jackie S.

One of the best spots on Hilton head Island for food and entertainment. Small capacity allows for a cozy night out. Food is excellent as well as the service and ambience .

Good overall experience. Food was good. Encountered no issues. Tables are close together so engaged and enjoyed conversations with two different groups of diners. Would eat here again. Service charge of 3.5%.

The food was wonderful. We were looking forward to live music however there wasn't. Music was playing however not live.

I have been a fan of Ruby Lee's for years. Whenever I travel to Hilton Head, it's a MUST! The food is delicious and the staff is great! Entertainment is a bonus; and, Tim always makes you feel welcomed.

Great time, the Ross Band was FANTASTIC! our server, Patty was pleasant and attentive. This was my fourth time dining there. I love supporting small businesses, however, in the future, I'll go for drinks and entertainment only.

We had a fantastic time at Ruby Lee’s! It was our first visit but won’t be the last. The food was great—loved the shrimp and grits. The band was fun and played a variety of music. Many of the patrons were dancing , so fun!
