Epic Chophouse is a steakhouse that began this flagship location in Mooresville, NC in 2010. We recommend reservations but except walk ins especially in our cocktail bar area which is first come first serve with high top tables. If you do not see a reservation time you prefer, please call the restaurant. Parties sizes that exceed 6 people please call the restaurant. We do offer takeout and also provide catering services both in house and outside. Please see our website for more information. Our dress attire is business casual and only ask that men have shirts with sleeves. There is ample parking in the rear parking lot of the restaurant or on main street in front.

The menu at Epic Chophouse consists of dishes such as our famous cheese toast & lobster bisque for appetizers, epic wedge salad, steaks that are wet aged for 35 days or more that are broiled to perfection on an 1800 degree South end broiler to give a nice char on the outside and flavorful and juicy inside.

Ordered the porterhouse which is 12 ounces of New York strip and 8 ounces of filet mignon. It’s a very good steak if you’re very hungry or looking to split with another person.

Went back after seven years to give this another shot. It was better this time around. However, the comet was overcooked and tough. The fried pork chop was underwhelming. The flavor was okay but presentation was not good. It needed a more substantial sauce to accompany it than the smear on the paste. Pecan crusted chicken was good but the coating was too thick for the breast filet it covered. Same can be said for the pork chop; 50/50 breading to meat. Sides were okay. Potatoes were great and cabbage was good. Green beans just okay. Service was good and ambiance was great albeit loud. Sadly, I wanted to like it and make it a possibility place to visit in the future but at about $100+ a plate it’s just not worth that.

Service at the bar was excellent. Once seated upstairs waiter was friendly but not efficient, food was cold and manager didn’t seem to want to discuss the issues she just removed the two items from our bill. We booked a birthday dinner, the birthday was not acknowledged in anyway. I would not visit again.

Enjoyed dinner at Epic Chophouse to celebrate our anniversary this past Saturday. Had to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance to make sure we could get in on a Saturday but with every good restaurant, this is to be expected and planned. Service was fantastic, the food was great and the Epic Cake we ordered was out of this world! Compared to other steakhouses in the Charlotte area, this outshines the rest! The only complaint I would have is that it is very loud so if you want a nice quiet ambience, this is not the place to go.

Dining at Epic Chophouse is consistently a wonderful experience. The service is attentive, the food is outstanding, and the ambiance is stylish and inviting. While the atmosphere can occasionally get a bit lively, it only adds to the vibrant energy of the space. 🍽️✨

Quality and great service. First time there. Place was packed so it was loud. Location was perfect., The building and use of space was wonderful. Our waiter DeAndre loves his job and is excellent. Food and drink was great and worth the price. Meatball app was a little dry and could have been hotter.

We went to Epic to celebrate our 30th anniversary. My Ribeye was one of the best I’ve ever had. Potatoes and creamed corn risotto were also fantastic!! The wife’s chicken parm was delicious and huge!! A fantastic evening at a great restaurant!!!
