True to the area’s historical roots, the restaurant offers guests the highest quality steaks, chops and seafood artfully curated by our culinary team. Our server , Isaac, was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was excellent ! The ribeye and burger were some of the best we’ve had.

We came to Commission Row last night to celebrate Melissa’s birthday, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, the service was top‑notch — the hostess handed Melissa a personalized birthday card when we were seated, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. We started with the oysters and Wagyu carpaccio, and both were absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Maleigha, was incredibly helpful in choosing between the East and West Coast oysters, making sure we picked the best fit for our taste. For our entrées, I ordered the lamb rack, and Melissa had the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. The French onion mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor — a must‑order side. What really set the experience apart was the service. When I mentioned that we had a reservation at Mel’s Speakeasy later that evening with a long gap between, Maleigha worked with the manager to adjust our reservation, allowing us to move seamlessly from dinner to drinks. To top it off, she surprised us with a platter of small desserts and glasses of champagne, making the celebration even more memorable. The manager also stopped by our table to check in and wish Melissa a happy birthday — another example of the personalized, genuine hospitality we felt throughout the evening. We absolutely loved our experience and would recommend Commission Row to anyone looking for an upscale, memorable night out in Indianapolis. We’ll certainly be back!

Our server (Ben) provided excellent service and information on the courses. We really enjoyed our experience and consistent high-quality dishes beginning from appetizers to our lemon sorbet. Cannot wait to return!

Very nice date spot! Do be cognizant of events going on at Gainbridge as they can make finding parking difficult, but all in all it is a fantastic spot.

The food was delicious. It did not disappoint. We had the filet, shrimp, scalloped potatoes, and gelato. My son had salmon and chicken fingers (he doesn’t always eat seafood). I recommend all of it. Our service was fantastic. We can’t wait to go again.

Commission Row – A Father’s Day to Remember This was our fourth visit to Commission Row and our second time being lucky enough to have Ben as our server—he’s truly one of the best in the business. From the moment we arrived, Ben made our group feel welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely valued. He even remembered our visit from over a year ago, what we ordered, what we drank, the man has a mind like a steel trap and the heart of a true hospitality pro. We dined on Father’s Day and brought my Uncle Tom, my husband, our son, and his girlfriend. Every single dish was phenomenal. The popovers started the meal perfectly warm, flaky, and addictive with a savory butter and oil. I had the best salmon I’ve ever tasted, and I am PICKY about my salmon. My husband’s NY Strip changed my entire opinion on that cut, we are typically Ribeye people, it was so juicy and flavorful. Uncle Tom, my son both had the 10 oz filet and said it was hands-down the best they’ve ever had. Mikayla had the Seabass and said it was so flaky, not overly fishy and she cleared that plate clean! Now for the Sides: Mushroom mix, potatoes gratin, and Brussels sprouts, every one of them seasoned and cooked to perfection and plenty to share for our table of 5. We ended the meal with cappuccinos and desserts that felt like an event on their own, the towering chocolate cake, pineapple cake, and Millionaire Cheesecake were all rich, indulgent, and totally worth it. I'll be hitting the gym extra hard! LOL Commission Row continues to impress, and Ben makes every visit unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be back. and fingers crossed, we’ll get Ben again. He makes each visit an experience to remember.
