Ever wondered how much a dash, drizzle or pinch may be and how much is too much? Explore these questions and other culinary quandaries with Chef Eliza on Thursdays, from 11:00 to 2:30. Chef Eliza will demonstrate 12 dishes and Sommelier Paul will pour 10 wines, harmonizing or juxtaposing the cuisine. Recipes feature summer flavors and lesser known ingredients. Learn from Sophie the art of wine pairing and dive into the regions and varietals of wine. Take with you all of the recipes, a full tummy and a bevy of new friends. Feel free to request a date for a class that fits your schedule. Most of our classes are held on Fridays but we are open to private classes any day of the week.

We had brunch at 221 after talking about it for years. It was delicious. We have had many meals there and the brunch was as good as all the rest. Will definitely go back. Not sure why it takes so long to get drinks out. Only constructive feedback. We had the fried green tomatoes Benedict and soft shell crab eggs 🥚 Benedict. Both were delicious 😋 and we would order again. The complimentary blueberry 🫐 muffins were the best we have ever eaten!! Thank you, Eliza!!

We had Eliza cater our wedding and it was amazing. It was absolutely perfect. Our signature cocktails spot on probably the best cocktails I’ve had We went to dinner last night, sat outside very quaint ambience very quiet We ordered tuna tartare the combo soup I believe the quail is my favorite Lamb chops are delicious elk and bison We tried them all this restaurant is amazing .

We had a lovely evening at 221 South Oak. Our waiter was both friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. We began with the tuna tartare appetizer special. The avocado was vibrant and flavorful, but the tuna itself had a slightly fishy taste that detracted from the dish. For our main courses, we tried the salmon, lamb, and elk. The lamb was especially delicious, and I really enjoyed the sauce it was served with. However, I wasn’t particularly fond of the sides that accompanied it. The elk was also very good, though it was a bit heavy on the pepper, which overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. The creamy polenta served alongside it was excellent. While I usually enjoy cucumbers, we weren’t fans of how they were prepared in the side dish. My husband had the salmon and thought it was just okay—he wasn’t especially impressed with the sides either.

We had an exceptional meal! The Colorado Trout preparation was perfect and tasted beautiful. We also felt the braised Bison was outstanding and so tender and flavorful! We sat in the garden and enjoyed being outdoors in comfortable seating and quiet conversation was easy to have! We would go again in a heartbeat!

What a special place and what an extraordinary meal. This restaurant in the heart of Telluride promised to be a wonderful experience and it did not unsell itself. As a converted house with a lovely garden patio, we sat inside in a little nook. The food was not only delicious which we would have expected from a Top Chef and Beat Bobby Flay contestant but the beautiful as well. The menu promised a variety of interesting and fresh choices. This is a must go if you are in Telluride - you will not be disappointed!
