   Food was as advertised. I am a very picky eater my grouper was good and my wife’s salmon was good we finished or meal would be back again

   First visit to the Salt Rock, we had read exceptional reviews and were looking forward to dining. All of our food was absolutely delicious, no complaints at all. Our waiter Jamie was very informative, he had several tables and was busy. That did slow down our refills and getting our check, but overall we had a great experience.

   Had 730 reservations. Was seated promptly. Tuna sashimi was absolutely delicious. In fact we needed to order a second. Ordered a swordfish and a grouper dinner, with baked potatoes, Waitress came back and said we’re out of swordfish what’s your second choice? He then ordered one of the grouper specials. Both dinner came out with mashed potatoes. Flagged our waitress and reminded her that we had both ordered baked. She said oh we ran out. Seemed weird to me. Otherwise the food was delicious

   A friend who winters here recommended the Salt Rock Grill as a must go to. Well, it is. Amazing staff, food and ambiance. You will not be disappointed. Our waiter (wish I could remember his name but I can describe him…a beautiful man still in love with his wife after 13 years of marriage that has produced 2 beautiful young boys) made our visit, on our 27th wedding anniversary, especially special. ☺️Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💞

   Positives: Most of the food was very good. Calamari was great and entrees (filet mignon and stuffed Mahi Mahi) were excellent. House salad was a nice surprise. Server, Kevin, was knowledgable, friendly and on top of everything. Nice view of the ICW, even from back of dining room. Negatives: Parking can be problematic. Apparently any special requests you make in Open Table reservations are not available at reception so don't bother noting seat requests or special occasions. Caesar salad was not cold and had very little dressing but generous with the shaved Parmesan. Dining room is noisy but not really unpleasantly so. Over all, a nice dinner. Would go again but probably not real often.

   It's at least an hour drive for us to arrive at Salt Rock Grille so we usually go on special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays, etc and yesterday was no exception. What always a treat is the food and service are great. We can't recall ever having bad service or a bad meal. We both ordered the fire grilled grouper, Wedge salad and lobster bisque, and as usual they were all terrific. The only disappointment was our favorite waiter (Stephen) was'nt working last night.

   Our server, Kevin was excellent and helpful with so many menus to choose from ,very knowledgeable. We had a delicious dinner . I had filet mignon and small lobster tail, with baked potato and house salad. My son had Giant meatballs for appetizer. Bacon wrapped scallops with pasta with citrus cream sauce, which he enjoyed. Would definitely recommend Kevin and Salt Rock Grill.

   Both the meal and service were outstanding. I would highly recommend dining at those restaurant.

    We went for an anniversary dinner. Everything was amazing. The view, the service, the food, so much to choose from. We will definitely make reservation for nany occasions!!
