I had not been to the Drover in years and the quality is not what it used to be. The cocktail server was beyond grumpy and the food was plated very poorly. The salad bar was underwhelming. The prices are comparable to other top steak restaurants so I will be going to those in the future.

Such a great spot to celebrate something special or in my case take my out of town parents to show them one of the best meals in the state.

Next time I make a reservation here, I will request a table that is not right outside the kitchen. We had to put up with a swinging kitchen door and the help throwing dirty dishes in a rubber tote all night. Also, our waitress seemed to just disappear at times. Another waitress took our order.

Everything was great except for the noise, but I could see why. The college world series was in town and apparently the drover was highly recommended.

Great dinner and service. Love how the atmosphere takes you back in time. Recommend the whiskey ribeye, bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and leave room for the homemade turtle cheesecake. Love the salad bar. Will definitely be back on our next visit trip to Omaha.

Excellent meal. Old school Omaha steakhouse. A few of us tried the whiskey marinade and we all enjoyed it. It was very mild and delicious. The salad bar was also very good.

Went here on business due to everyone’s recommendation and it was great! I was so excited to see a salad bar again, it’s been years. The food was great - the best things were the sides though. Au gratin and lobster mac were chefs kiss! Everyone at my table ordered the whiskey ribeye and it was delicious. My steak was over cooked, but everyone else came out perfectly and we were all happy with our experience.
