Thomas Keller's Bouchon is located in the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Venezia Tower. Renowned designer Adam D. Tihany has masterfully created a beautiful interior that features a magnificent French pewter bar, a vibrant mosaic floor, deep blue velvet banquettes, antique light fixtures and an expansive hand-painted mural by noted French artist Paulin Paris. The exquisite décor is the perfect setting for Bouchon’s culinary delights. Chef Crain rediscovers the classics, using historical reference points and classic French techniques, combined with a modern approach. The menu offers classic bistro dishes including steak frites, roasted chicken, quiche, boudin noir, pot de crème and profiteroles. The selection of fruits de mer is celebrated as one of the finest in Las Vegas. The seasonal menu changes throughout the year and is enhanced by a blackboard menu featuring the best products available each day. Flawlessly executed in every aspect, Bouchon delights both the palate and the eye

We always visit this restaurant at least once when we are in Las Vegas, because we have never had anything other than an excellent experience. This time was a dinner party of seven for a birthday celebration. We ordered 3 apps to share (the fois gras special, the mussel dinner as an appetizer (absolutely an excellent suggestion from the server!), and beef tartare) All were perfect, and dunking the warm bread into the broth of the mussels was delightful. Dinner included steak frites, pepper steak, lamb, trout, 2 orders of roast chicken, salmon. Desserts were shared among us all. Wine was a bottle of Bordeaux. Pros: Excellent creative food, beautiful presentation, Attentive and friendly service- every need was anticipated before we knew we needed it. Courses arrived at the table in a timely manner, and the server was very helpful, answering questions and make suggestions. The food temperatures were spot on. Cons: The restaurant specialty roast chicken, which is normally absolutely perfect, had very dry white meat, specifically in the thickest side of the breast meat. When it was served, the skin was darker than usual, so that would account for the dryness. Since two of our party of seven had ordered it based on my previously glowing recommendations, I personally felt bad for misleading them. I always had ordered the chicken during brunch, so perhaps the late hour accounts for the variance. Note: Most of the diners did not adhere to the suggested dress code; there were sweat pants with tee shirts, hoodies, no-collar shirts, etc. Personally, I felt it was disrespectful to an excellent staff to wear the same thing as you might to a fast food restaurant, but to each their own. It also means that if you didn't bring business casual + clothes, don't let that stop you from enjoying an excellent dining experience.

What a fantastic experience! From food to service, it’s all top notch. Exactly what you’d expect from a Keller restaurant. Been coming here for years and never disappoints. Typically here for brunch but dinner is also fantastic. Get to try new menu items in addition to the wonderful seafood tower.

We went to Bouchon to have the trout dinner — Which they were sold out of. Then we tried to order the scallops. And they were sold out of the scallops Wait staff was competent. Sommelier made a good recommendation for the wine. The brisket was OK and the lamb was inedible - the sauce tasted like a brown gravy from Heinz. Escargot and seared foie gras were good. We used to enjoy this restaurant but that was the last time we will eat at Bouchon.

We typically enjoy the Las Vegas Bouchon because the service and ambiance is so much better than his other locations. The service was impeccable tonight but the food was mediocre at best (well except for the bread, French fries and dessert). We always get the French onion soup. Who ever prepared the soup that evening omitted salt. It was awful. The trout was extremely fishy and the steaks undercooked. The dessert was the best-a dark chocolate brownie with orange ice cream and a dark chocolate-a orange sauce. All in all I probably won’t try bouchon again. It’s really a hit and miss experience.

Bouchon used to have the best breakfast in Las Vegas. The “Small American” used to include juice and coffee, no longer, and the original link sausage was extraordinary, it has since been sourced a couple of times and this sitting, it was inedible. The fries on my Croque Madam were cold, an absolute sin, I don’t know if it was a kitchen problem or server, who seemed to be preoccupied with anything but service. I’ve been going to Bouchon for Breakfast or brunch ever since they have opened on my twice a year trips to Las Vegas. Though the meal didn’t meet their standards, the cheese danish and coffee were exceptional, that hasn’t changed, and it’s worth going to Bouchon just for that.

We arrived 5 min late (our room was in the Palazzo and we gave ourselves 20 minutes to get over there but should have done 30 due to elevator traffic) and OT says they have a grace period. When we checked in they were clearing tables and said it would be a minute. Ended up being a 20 min wait & appeared they were prioritizing walk ins ahead of reservations. Didn't mind waiting if we had been given a decent table, but we were stuck in a back booth right next to the hostess stand and the bar which was dark and loud, more like a sports bar than an upscale brasserie. We asked for a different table, closer to the solarium, as there seemed to be a few available but they said those were "reserved" which confused me since we had made a reservation 3 months prior. Then they said they could put us close to it and seated us at a 4 top still on the bar side but said we wouldn't be able to be seated in the solarium section because those tables were reserved for large parties. At first that was fine, but then we saw two 2 tops dining there and an identical table to ours (4 top) with no one sitting at it, so asked if we could just move there but they said no because it was reserved for 4 ppl - but couldn't that 4top just take our table when they arrived? So our waiter finally came over about 15 minutes after we're seated (no water yet) and asked how we were doing and I said it hadn't been a good experience thus far and he proceeded to stare at me blankly and say nothing. This ignited something in me and if he had just said, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," and ask us if we wanted drinks, etc, it probably would have been fine from there. But he said nothing, so I filled him in and he said you should have made a reservation very flippantly and that he couldn't help us. Finally the manager came over and told us it wouldn't be a problem to move us on the other side since there were in fact tables available. Smooth sailing from there and a much better waiter too, but not what I expected.

Sadly, once again, the secondary staff service was not up to the standards of what Bouchon should expect. Our waiter was very good if someone condescending. Bouchon was once my favourite and I always very highly recommended it but after now the second incident of exceptionally poor secondary service, it has dropped almost off my list entirely which Saddens me because the room is outstanding. The flank steak was over salted, significantly and my guests are not afraid of salt! The wine server literally slopped the wine all over the Paper table cloth Missing the wine glass entirely and further, was reaching across me rather than coming around to the side. Again it lacked the elegance I'm sure Thomas Keller would expect of his service staff – disappointing

Bouchon made this low carb eater, joyfully bust my diet! Best French bread, best croissants I have ever had! When you do things exquisitely as Bouchon does, simple things like bread, jam, butter are taken to a new level. The restaurant is wonderful and the menu makes it difficult to narrow your choices down to just one or two items. I looked forward to grabbing a toasted ham, egg and cheese croissant each morning I was there, and the only thing was the line was long and took about 25 minutes to get up to the front of the line. Magnifique, you are tops on my list!!!

First of all I would like to say that I am a huge fan of Thomas Keller. I visit all of his restaurants in the Napa Valley area and I’ve never ever had the experience I just had in Las Vegas. First of all I made a reservation for 11:30 am showed up at 11:25 am with my 90-year-old mother and was left standing before I was seated until 11:50 am. And I was reminded and required to confirm the reservation three different times by OpenTable. I was so excited to be eating a $32 cheeseburger and can I just tell you it was a frozen patty. Not to mention every time I needed something I had to flag someone down which should be unheard of at a restaurant at this quality. Disappointed, Pam 714-925-6001

The best French-inspired cuisine in Vegas! The champagne was terrific, the restaurant setting was straight from Paris, even the staff’s dress reminded me of France. As to our dinner, my wife had the ‘steak frites’ with a mountain of fries, while I had the ‘saumon poele’ served to perfection. This dining experience is definitely ‘worth the voyage’!

We had two delicious Lillet rouge spritzes at the bar before we even went to the table. When seated we were given a nice window table as requested and our server was prompt, personable and attentive without hovering. We shared the onion soup and endive salad before delicious entrees of lamb and trout. We also had to throw in their amazing truffle fries! Somehow we had room for the special panna cotta dessert and a killer chocolate one. The only hiccup was the double espresso was brought as a single, but was immediately rectified. It was an amazing meal with a fabulous bottle of St Emillion wine only $90 which was an excellent price point. Overall with the 3 course food quality and wine, $300 was a great value. It’s Vegas after all.

If you like name-brand dining just to say you've eaten there, but where the food is mediocre and they treat diners like an assembly line, this is the restaurant for you. I came for a relaxed, leisurely business brunch and was hurried along every step of the way as if they couldn't wait to get us out of there and seat more customers. Food is quite mediocre and overpriced. You don't feel like you're eating the food lovingly and expertly prepared by a great chef, but that of a corporate chain ringing up dollar signs. What a disappointment.
