   Food was very good, especially the scallops and the Lobster Mac and cheese. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was great too with a dimly lit, romantic setting accompanied by Star Wars decor. Perfect for anyone with a nerdy side who is looking for an exceptional dinner.

   This was an unexpected special treat. We tried it as a "somewhere different" restaurant and it has become our "Go To Restaurant". Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The food was the best we've had in years. Smiling, friendly, professional, and courteous staff just added to the experience.

   This was our first time at The Flaming Buoy and won’t be our last!! Food, service and ambience was awesome!! Everyone was so friendly!! Loved it!!!

   I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The service was wonderful. Brian was helpful and so fun. We started with the spinach artichoke appetizer, it was very tasty. I had the Red snapper with the banana salsa, my husband had the seafood trio. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back next time in Key West.

   I highly recommend Flaming Buoy Restaurant. It has been a favotite of my husband's and mine since we first bought our house in Key West in 2010. The food is delicious, and the location near the corner of Duval Street and near the iconic Tropic Cinema make it a perfect location. We go there frequently and always enjoy it, as we did last evening. I had my favorite Duck Confit Flatbread with lots of cranberries on top , the Shrimp Quesadilla with aged cheddar and banana salsa and the fresh Spinach Salad. The items on the menu are unique and often we are reminded that an important aspect/part of a dish has been passed down from the chef's grandmother's kitchen. It is truly great food and at a great price. The owners, Scott and Fred, are always warm and welcoming. They make you feel at home and as though you have made their day . And, the wait staff as well, is always so attentive and so willing to honor a request for less spicey or more well done in order to make the customers' experience the most enjoyable. This is a great restaurant with consistently great food, a good wine list and service with a smile.

   We had a fantastic Mother's Day celebration at Flaming Buoy. We happened to be in Key West for Mother's Day and thought we would go to Flaming Buoy as the reviews online are good. It turned out to be a wonderful experience exceed our expectation. The place is very elegantly set up, with many Star War theme items and a nice ambience. Our host, Dean, was very nice and accommodating. He sat us at a quiet corner with a lot of space, gave us recommendation of the menu, and was extremely helpful with our 1.5 yr-old son by providing a sketching set, rubber duck, and appropriate tablewares. Foods were great , especially the lobster Mac & Cheese, grilled grouper and the pink shrimps with red curry. The lobster bisque was good too. They have a notable wine collection for those wine geeks, and Dean offered us complimentary Port to go with dessert since they ran out of hot coffee. Overall it was a fantastic experience and a great celebration for Mother's Day. We tired to go back 2 days later but they were close on Tuesdays. Until next time I guess.

    The Flaming Buoy was so flavorful! We tried both the appetizer trio and dinner trio and all 6 items were truly excellent! Our server, Dean, was very attentive and explained a lot about the history of the restaurant. This is our new go to place in Key West. We will definitely be back!
