the Apparatus Rom hands down has some of the best ambiance in Detroit! Our lunches were delicious: the Smashburger was outstanding as were the Lamb Pastrami Rueben, and the cauliflower and mushroom appetizers. Sadly, the service was not acceptable. Our lunch experience took 1.5 hours. Food took 40 minutes. Would love to come back but the service needs to be addressed.

Wonderful per usual. Ashley, our waitress, was incredible and had such a wonderful personality. Food was outstanding and speed of service definitely improved since our previous visit. We will undoubtedly return. Love this place.

Love to be able to go to a place where the server knows the dishes and can thoroughly describe the menu. Food was yummy, good and unexpected flavor combos (eg the cauliflower). Drinks were good too. Enjoyed it.
