   Waiting staff should know what is/isnt available at point of order, took 3 goes to order starter. The food is generally good but the price point is too high. Not expecting Wetherspoons prices but can’t understand why “standard” beers are upwards of £2 more expensive.

   Much improved since this time last year, the food was delicious and plenty of it. Proud to call it my local.

   We have eaten there 3 or 4 times previously with no complaints. Myself and my wife live in Manchester area, and visit our children and our siblings a couple of times a year. I would call this visit a disaster. I had steak&ale pie, supposed to be with chips, as were some of the other meals ordered.No chips left. This was approx 6.30 pm on a Sunday.My pie just got served with some roast potatoes instead of mash. I could list other complaints but at the age of 80 years i cannot be bothered. Bill was almost £200 including service charge. Not good enouth for a Punch Taverns house. Very disappointed.

   We visited The Crown for a Sunday roast with friends. The 4 of us all had roast beef, yorkshires and veg which was delicious. Great portion of food, very tasty and friendly service. Pub is beautiful inside, very comfortable and good selection of drinks including coffee and tea.

   Really good and nice staff, much nicer than the previous group, food was outstanding from start to finish and one bottle of Gerand Bertrand was phenomenal!

   Extremely tasty Korean chicken burger and asian slaw with skin on fries. Nice selection of drinks including cocktails. Really friendly pub and very accomodating when we had to change our booking time slightly. Great decor and nice outside area. Would recommend

   Very disappointed. The roast chicken was overcooked and dry. My beef which I asked for pink was grossly overdone well beyond well done. Despite the feedback we were not even offered an apology. Truly awful. The only redeeming feature was the gravy which was tasty and the green vegetables looked fresh unlike the roast vegetables which like the meat must have been cooked several days ago
