    We love having dinner at Eddie V's in Fort Worth. The service is exceptional. The staff are friendly, and the food always good. Particularly enjoy their steaks, and their Au Gratin potatoes. Their by-the-glass wine selection is made up of very good inexpensive wines, both red and white. Deserts are a great treat, although we didn't have room for any this visit. On this visit, it was Father's Day, so even at 4:30pm, the place was packed. We were seated in what is generally set up for private dining, so the noise level in the room was more than we usually experience. I had the off-menu special which I split with my wife. More than enough food for the two of us. Four-ounce filet each, and a South African lobster tail. She had Brussel Sprouts (which I can't do, sorry) and I had the Au Gratin potatoes. I was only mildly disappointed with the lobster--it was a bit dry and chewy compared to Maine and Florida varieties. I ascribe this to the species, and not to the kitchen. We will definitely return.

    Riley was an awesome waitperson. The service was excellent. Our meal was fantastic. My husband and I both had the blackened redfish and it was prepared perfectly. The fish was so moist and the sauce was delicious. And for dessert we shared the bananas foster cake and as always it was great! Great cocktails and wine list too!

    We always enjoy Eddie V’s. One of us specifically came for the Horseradish Parmesan crusted filet! Scallops were perfect. Red fish special was excellent. Great meal!
