    Bistronomic in Chicago is, without a doubt, my favorite French restaurant. Nestled in the heart of the city, it effortlessly transports you to a cozy corner of Paris with its warm ambiance and exceptional cuisine. For appetizers, I can't get enough of the haricot verts salad with hazelnuts and goat cheese – a delightful medley of textures and flavors. Equally impressive is the beet salad, a harmonious blend of roasted beets and fresh greens. Moving on to the main course, the duck dish is a standout, with tender, succulent meat. However, my absolute favorite is the steak au poivre in a rich cognac sauce, perfectly accompanied by crispy fries. One of the things that truly sets Bistronomic apart is its authenticity. The fact that the restaurant is run by French expatriates shines through in every aspect of the experience. From the menu selection to the ambiance, you can feel the genuine passion for French cuisine and culture. It's like taking a culinary journey to France without leaving the city.

    First time dining at Bistronomic. First time dining at a French restaurant. Had the Ahi tuna tartare, was great! Mussels in a garlicky butter cream sauce, with a side of frites,again delicious!! Dessert was Baked Alaska! What can I say!! Will definitely be back for lunch! Lunch menu looks great!!

    I started with a delightful bowl of onion soup, which was hearty and tasty. For the main course, I chose the special for the day, the Cod Brandade. To say it was delicious is to understate how much I enjoyed it. And, of course, the usual attention from Lulu, my server Daria, and the rest of the staff made for a supremely enjoyable evening.

    If you love truffle salt this is your restaurant. You can smell it when you walk in the door. It’s overwhelming. If the smell of truffle is unpleasant to you you may want to pick another place to dine. Food choices are ok but not great. Still a lot of people love it and the place is usually full

    Loved the covered patio and the food was great. Service was timely and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Very glad we found this spot. Also, without being told, they looked up a birthday within our OpenTable profile and provided a dessert. Very nice touch to an already good experience. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic experience, beautiful dining room, great creative menu, owners presence was evident, as all staff were on point. Loved the duck confit appetizer! I can certainly understand the Bistro’s popularity, my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. Also, quite nice to see ladies and gentlemen dressing sharply for dinner, it does elevate the experience.

    Bustling French restaurant with an amazingly large menu. Menu is complimented by daily specials. Food is great and inventive. Prices are moderate for a restaurant of this quality. Owners are very friendly and chef usually stops by to ask how we enjoyed the dinner. Service was very nice and food was beautifully presented.

    I loved the ambiance of this restaurant. It was very French, but not pretentious. The food was amazing. The chef came out to ask us how everything was--not very common in many restaurants. One of our dinners (there were four of us) came out a bit after the other 3 dinners were served--again the chef came out and this time apologized for the delay. At the end of the meal, a dessert was bought to us, on the house. A very pleasant surprise. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will definitely return!
